At nine o’clock, Jiang Qin and Yun Xie were brought to the starship port right on ti.
At this ti, no one knew the production team had already started the livestream.
So everyone was being quite... genuine.
A total of five females were invited to the variety show. Besides Jiang Qin and one S-level female, there was also the popular actress Kasha, the Duke’s daughter Denise, and the wealthy heiress Ji Susu.

The S-level female, Natalia, and the actress Kasha didn’t bring partners to the show. Everyone else did.
Jiang Qin ca with Yun Xie, while Denise brought a gentle-looking man with blond hair and blue eyes.
Ji Susu also brought a partner, one with short, aqua-blue hair and matching eyes. He had a youthful face and looked like a high school student.
At the mont, no one was familiar with each other, so they all kept to their own groups. But they also, as if by unspoken agreent, ignored Jiang Qin.
After all, of everyone present, only she and Yun Xie were from the Federation.
They probably couldn’t figure out why an Imperial variety show would invite people from the Federation.
However, a few of the invited males were secretly sizing up Jiang Qin.
Whatever their reasons for joining the show, they were curious about this female from the Federation.
This was especially true for Ni Jia. Unlike the other busy guests, he usually had plenty of free ti, which he often spent on wining, dining, and entertainnt.
Anything fun on the market would pique his interest.
His curiosity about Jiang Qin had started with her work as an Interstellar Composer.

He had also gone to see the recently released ’dicine God’.
He thought it was well-made, but he didn’t particularly enjoy it.
After all, with his privileged background, he couldn’t quite empathize with the desperation of the lower classes struggling to survive.
He had the money, so he’d had soone contact Jiang Qin to invite her to produce more ani.

The only reason he ca was because he’d heard she would be on the show.
He was here for one reason only: to talk to her face-to-face about a collaboration.

With that thought, Ni Jia’s lips curved into a perfect smile as he approached Jiang Qin.
He extended a remarkably pale hand and said, "Hello, Miss Jiang. I’ve heard a great deal about you. I’m Ni Jia, of the Empire’s Ni family."
"Hello." Jiang Qin didn’t know his motive, but she wasn’t one to be rude to a smiling face, so she replied with a smile of her own.
Their hands touched for only a mont before parting.
Seeing he had nothing more to say, Jiang Qin gave a polite nod, then took Yun Xie’s hand and boarded the starship.
As she took his hand, Yun Xie’s eyes darkened, and the corner of his mouth twitched.
’A little annoyed...’
’Okay, he was *super* annoyed. He’d overestimated himself.’
Ni Jia, still standing in the sa spot, rubbed the fingers that had just touched hers, a strange feeling stirring within him.

Neptune was a tourist planet.
Seventy percent of the planet was ocean, with only a small portion of it being land.
They were headed to a developed tourist area on Neptune.
The area featured a seaside town with ocean-view villas, beaches, and a cordoned-off zone for diving.
Interstellar oceans weren’t safe; they were ho to many terrifying marine Alien Beasts.
Only the cordoned-off areas had been cleared of them.
The starship was cramped, so everyone stayed in their rooms unless it was necessary to co out.
Jiang Qin didn’t leave her room either, staying inside with Yun Xie until the production team ca knocking.
"Hello, Miss Jiang. The director would like everyone to gather in the dining hall. We need to shoot so footage for the final edit."
"Alright."
Jiang Qin, who already knew the production team was livestreaming, didn’t raise any objections.
Even though the show was being livestread, a re-edited version of the recording would be broadcast later.
After all, not every viewer had ti for the live broadcast, and many would opt to watch the recording later.
So of the others hadn’t arrived yet when the two of them reached the dining hall.
When Ni Jia arrived, he naturally sat down to her left.

Kasha asked with a light laugh, "Director, aren’t you going to tell us the reward for playing this ga?"
"Of course there’s a reward. The person who completes their card’s task the fastest gets to choose their room first."
"Likewise, the last person to finish gets no choice."
The rooms in the villa varied in quality, so anyone who wanted first pick had to play along.
"Have you decided who’s spinning first?" the director urged.
Jiang Qin didn’t care which room she got, so she was about to volunteer to go first when Long Hao beat her to it.
"I’ll go first. Let’s get this over with, I need to get so sleep."
With that, he reached out and pressed the red button on the wheel, then casually pressed it again to stop it.
The pointer landed on one of the red squares.
The director carefully took a sealed card from the slot and handed it to Long Hao, reminding him, "Your task card can’t be seen by anyone else."
"If anyone else sees the contents of your task, your result will be voided, and you’ll automatically be last."
"Got it." Long Hao glanced at the card with so annoyance.
In that second, Jiang Qin clearly saw the expression on his face freeze.
This made her a little curious about what task he had actually drawn.
In the end, though, she didn’t get to see it.
Although Long Hao’s movents seed rough and careless, he did a good job of blocking everyone else’s view.
He looked very irritated as he carelessly shoved the card back into his pocket.

The second person to go up and draw was Jiang Qingfeng.
This Young Marshal’s appearance didn’t match his na at all.
His na, Qingfeng, ant "Clear Breeze," but he was nothing like the gentle, refined man that na suggested. Instead, he looked more like a dark-skinned jock.
His bulging muscles, in particular, looked as if they were about to burst out of his Combat Suit.
