Neptune’s undersea tunnel led directly into the Deep Sea.
Compared to humans, Beastn actually shared many of the sa ways of thinking. In fact, their brains were even more developed than those of pure humans.
Therefore, they were just as curious about exploring the Deep Sea.
And so, they invented many tools for it.
In the current Interstellar era, people had already explored every corner of the seas.
This was especially true for sea regions where tunnels could be built; warriors were sent in ahead of ti to clear out the Sea Beasts.
Thankfully, this was the age of Beastn. Many of them carried the Genes of Sea Clan Alien Beasts, so fighting in the Deep Sea was not a problem.
Even the construction was thanks to these deep-sea Beastn.
This just went to show that, in the end, the pros of genetic modification outweighed the cons.
Without the Beastman Gene, humans would have been completely helpless against these Deep Sea Alien Beasts. Once they grew to a terrifying size, no one would be able to stop them.
Now, armies were deployed across the entire Interstellar space to eliminate Alien Beasts, controlling their populations to prevent them from running rampant.
Only then could the world have so asure of peace.
The Alien Beasts currently on display were basically all captive-bred.
Their Genes had long since been altered, and they had been injected with drugs that caused sterilization, osteoporosis, tooth loss, and premature organ failure.
Even so, their massive, ferocious appearances were still enough to frighten many people.
Jiang Qin was marveling at them. ’Tsk, tsk, what terrifying sea creatures. They’re like the sea monsters from a disaster movie.’
The people around her were exclaiming in amazent:
"Wow, so this is what a Predatory Whale looks like. It’s so scary."
"You should see an adult Predatory Whale. This one is just a juvenile."
"What? It’s still a juvenile? That’s terrifying! Quick, quick, take a picture of with it! I want to post it on the Star Network."
"Okay, hold still."
Jiang Qin’s gaze also shifted to the juvenile Predatory Whale.
Even though she knew it was toothless and weak, she was still startled by its bloodthirsty, greedy eyes.
Inside the tunnel, everyone was laughing and taking pictures with these terrifying Alien Beasts.
But the Alien Beasts outside the tunnel were constantly staring at this group of tourists, who they saw as nothing but food.
Even with their bodies broken down, they still watched the Beastn with predatory eyes.
They would even ram their bodies against the tunnel from ti to ti.
Not that it could shake anything, of course.
Still, Jiang Qin felt a little panicked. Her mind was flooded with scenes from disaster movies.
She imagined how horrible it would be if the tunnel were to shatter.
As they went deeper, the bodies of the undersea Alien Beasts surrounding the tunnel beca even more ferocious and terrifying.
Jiang Qin also saw a massive python with two large, fin-like wings on either side of its mouth, its body covered in long, sharp spines.
Stared at by those cold, covetous eyes, she shivered uncomfortably.
Yun Xie, who had been watching her the whole ti, imdiately switched places with her, blocking her view of the python.
"If you don’t like it, we can just leave," he suggested.
Jiang Qin shook her head. "We’re already here."
"But, um... are these weird Alien Beasts the main attraction of this tunnel?"
’Interstellar People have such morbid tastes.’
"There are coral reefs a little deeper in."
The first part of the tunnel was for viewing Alien Beasts. The sections deeper in were fully equipped with attack systems.
So the area for truly enjoying the beautiful underwater scenery was even further down.
Sure enough, after about half an hour of walking, they reached a platform where they had to take a slide down.
After all, they were tens of thousands of ters under the sea. It would take forever to walk the whole way.
Then, Jiang Qin saw the most beautiful sight she had ever witnessed in her life.
There were small, multicolored undersea Alien Beasts, as well as so swimming undersea Exotic Plants.
The most stunning sight was the many Beastn with human torsos and fish tails, striking all sorts of beautiful poses.
"Are they Beastn with the rmaid Gene?"
Yun Xie nodded. "Yes, but they’re Half-beastn with the rmaid Gene.
Although the salary for this job is high, the risks are just as great, so only Half-beastn apply for it."
’No wonder,’ she thought. ’No wonder I just saw a rmaid with tiger ears on its head.’
Half-beastn like these, born unable to change their form and stuck in their rmaid bodies, really had nowhere else to go besides jobs like this.
After all, they couldn’t leave the water. Rather than be devoured by Sea Beasts in the wild, it was better to work at a tourist attraction like this.
They could earn money and have a certain degree of safety at the sa ti.
But it also ant their entire lives were essentially confined to this area.
"Actually, it’s not so bad," Yun Xie added. "At least it guarantees their basic needs are t. When they get old, they can do jobs like feeding the Alien Beasts."
Ti passed slowly.
The slide took them to the end of the tunnel.
This place was indeed well-designed, with faintly glowing ores scattered all around.
Compared to the noisy clamor of the previous section, everyone fell silent in tacit agreent upon arriving here, quietly admiring the beautiful scenery.
After taking many more photos, Jiang Qin finally completed her check-in task for the day.
anwhile, the other guests were having their own unique experiences.
***
Denise took her blond partner to a campsite to check in.
Because the rules required a certain amount of spending, she also went to earn so money. She did this by setting up a photo booth.
As a Duke’s daughter, she had a certain degree of popularity in the Empire.
She used this to her advantage and earned enough money.
The production team simply turned a blind eye to this thod of earning money.
Everyone was well aware that the people coming for photos were just trying to use the opportunity to curry favor.
She didn’t run into any of the male guests, so no sparks flew on her end.
The real drama was happening with Ji Susu.
She had been earning money with her aqua-haired partner when she ran into Ni Jia, who had just left Jiang Qin.
When Ni Jia saw her, he cursed his bad luck and turned to run.
But Ji Susu’s sharp eyes spotted him. "Ni Jia, you stop right there!"
Ni Jia wanted to leave but was wary of the Ji Family, so he had no choice but to stop. He turned around and asked, "Is sothing wrong?"
"Can’t I call out to you even if nothing’s wrong?
What? We’ve been childhood friends for so many years, and now you’re trying to cut ties with just because we’re on a variety show?
Let guess, who have you set your sights on?
Is it that noble lady, Denise? Or that S-level commoner girl? It couldn’t be those two starlets, could it?"
Ji Susu scrutinized his expression. "Actually, it doesn’t matter who you’ve set your sights on. You should know that I’m the only one here who’s suitable for you.
The others are either beneath the Ni family’s notice or far beyond your reach."
"Oh? And what does that have to do with you?" Ni Jia retorted sarcastically.
He didn’t want to argue with a female, as it was very disadvantageous for him, but Ji Susu’s smug expression disgusted him to no end.
It was the kind of expression that said she was certain that if she wanted him, he would be her dog.
It was utterly revolting.
"If you stopped just to say all this, Miss Ji, then I’ll be leaving. I have a task to complete, after all.
By the way, while I may not be incredibly wealthy, I can still afford to hire a life coach.
I hope you won’t be so overly enthusiastic next ti, Miss Ji. After all, you’re not licensed, and you might end up leading people astray."
