Yun Xie, who was on Jiang Qin’s mind, received a ssage from Yuan Ling but chose not to return right away.
Instead, he followed the information in the ssage to a research institute.
He staked out the place for a long ti before finally spotting a trace of Fox Ear.
Fox Ear, however, quickly discovered the little tail behind him. With a wicked smile, he sped off in a new direction.
Once he reached a remote area, he called out, "You’ve been following long enough. Co on out."
Yun Xie hadn’t expected to remain undetected anyway, as he hadn’t made any effort to hide.
"Well, if it isn’t the little cutie’s Flood Dra.
What? Trying to ambush ? I’ll admit I can’t beat you in a straight fight, but with the speed of your beast form, escaping you would be child’s play."
"Is that so? And what if you add to the mix?" An aqua-blue kitten suddenly leaped out from a nearby rock.
"A mutated Netherworld Cat?
You two really think highly of . An S-level and an SS-level Beastman ambushing together... I’m truly flattered, you know~"
A fox, a cat, and a Flood Dra. The three of them were locked in a standoff.
In the end, Lan Yuyan was the first to strike.
The reason Yun Xie hadn’t left Chaotic Star was that he wanted to make sure Fox Ear never left.
This feeling of soone constantly spying on their female master from the shadows was awful.
With Jiang Qin’s disappearance, his Riot Value had shot straight up from 0 to 56.
If sothing had really happened to her, he probably would have followed her to the grave.
Lan Yuyan felt the sa way.
He, too, was a complete ss. After all, when Yun Xie contacted him, he’d been raising hell on another Chaotic Star.
After getting the ssage, he had pushed himself to the limit to get here and help as quickly as possible.

If he were only facing Yun Xie alone, Fox Ear could still remain calm.
But with Lan Yuyan in the picture, he grew cautious. Knowing better than to fight them head-on, he imdiately started to flee.
A yellow figure and a blue one vanished in the blink of an eye.
Yun Xie’s beast form was enormous. His advantage was his raw power, but his disadvantage was that his size made it difficult to navigate certain areas while slithering.
While he wasn’t slow, he couldn’t compare to the other two, who were renowned for their speed.
Lan Yuyan was also having a hard ti keeping up.
Chaotic Star had no artificial sun or moon, let alone any luxury like electric lights.

Fox Ear’s beast form was the Shadow Fox, a type of Beastman perfectly suited for vanishing into the darkness.

This was especially true because Lan Yuyan’s Netherworld Cat Genes weren’t pure. His mutation had made him slightly slower than a normal Netherworld Cat, though it gave him the ability to move stealthily underwater.
But even though he struggled to keep up, it wasn’t easy for Fox Ear to shake him, either.
The next ti he was running parallel to Fox Ear, Lan Yuyan moved with lightning speed, flinging a handful of fluorescent powder onto him.
The stuff was cheap, but effective.

Just as he’d planned, now anyone could see Fox Ear’s silhouette.
It was only a faint afterimage of light, but at least it revealed his general direction so they wouldn’t lose his trail.
Fox Ear cursed internally and kept running.
Suddenly, he screeched to a halt. Within seconds, he was surrounded.
"Heh. To deal with little old , you brought this many people? You really do overestimate ."
"You are, after all, the Beastman who can co and go as he pleases even when surrounded by the Law Enforcent Team."
Fearing that any delay could bring new trouble, Lan Yuyan finished with a soft chuckle, his eyes turning calm as he addressed the others. "Enough talk. Kill him."
The next instant, he raised his sharp claws and charged the fox.
Fox Ear dodged the blow, only for another attack to co at him from the side.
He could only dodge again and again.
There’s no such thing as a flawless Beastman. The Shadow Fox’s Genes were entirely maxed out for speed, which left its attack power severely lacking.
So Fox Ear never fought others head-on, but instead used his speed to win.
And he was doing the sa thing now.
Despite his incredible dodging speed, he was still injured under the coordinated assault.
So, he pulled several small silver spheres from his Space Button.
Lan Yuyan recognized them and shouted a warning, "Scatter! Those are compression bombs!"
BANG BANG BANG—
Seven or eight of the silver spheres were thrown, blasting several large craters into the ground.
Fortunately, a few of them were carrying Advanced Energy Shields and managed to block the force of the blast.
Otherwise, Fox Ear would have broken through their encirclent in that instant.
Lan Yuyan knew full well how difficult he was to deal with; otherwise, the Federation and the Empire wouldn’t have let him run free for so many years.
Just then, soone in their group deployed a cha, and Yun Xie finally caught up.
No words were exchanged. They all attacked as one!
Fox Ear darted about erratically, unleashing a chaotic bombardnt of various high-tech weapons—all highly polluting and hazardous materials—completely disregarding the damage he was inflicting on the planet.
One of them was hit. Although their shield blocked the initial attack, they were splashed by a liquid that instantly burned a large hole through their beast form.
"Fox Ear, have you lost your mind? What about the people still living on this planet if you keep this up?"
"Hah. Let them deal with it. When have you high-and-mighty types ever cared about their lives? Stop pretending, will you?"
Lan Yuyan and Yun Xie were both furious.
They had never acted high and mighty, nor had they ever been indifferent to the lives of others.
"You really are a madman! If you harbor such hatred, why don’t you go after your real enemies?
Instead, you keep turning your blade on innocent people. What makes you any different from the enemies you hate?"
Hearing the condemnation, Fox Ear was completely unfazed. "Life in this world is so painful. I’m just helping them end their wretched existence a little sooner.
They should be thanking for it! HAHAHAHA~~"
"Madman!" soone spat.
Lan Yuyan engaged Fox Ear, and the two blurs of motion fought at incredible speed, sparks flying where their claws t.

When they ca to a stop again, both the cat and the fox were dripping with blood.
More importantly, Lan Yuyan felt his head growing heavy and dizzy.
He forced himself to shout, "Yun Xie, kill him! His claws are coated in poison!"
"HAHAHA~~ Little kitty, you know it’s poison, yet you still tell him to kill . Aren’t you afraid you’ll die without an antidote?~"
Lan Yuyan was unmoved. "Kill him!"
’So what if I die? Even in death, I’ll drag Fox Ear down with !’
’Anyone who threatens Jiang Qin deserves to die!’
Clearly, Yun Xie was just as resolute in this matter. Seizing an opportunity, he spat his venom directly at Fox Ear.
