Liant Town, second floor of the inn.
After finishing washing his clothes, Falson pushed open his door and stepped out of his room.
His chest rose and fell slightly, his bangs plastered into damp strands by sweat, clinging to his flushed skin.
He felt so hot, wanting to get so fresh air and cool down.
Wiping the sweat from his forehead, he felt much more comfortable after leaving the confined room.
"Phew..." he muttered softly, raising his hand and wiping his brow forcefully with the coarse sleeve of his shirt, also soaked with sweat on the inside of his wrist. "So hot."
His voice sounded especially clear in the empty, silent hallway.
He wasn't sure if it was because washing clothes was indeed a physical chore, but despite it being late November in the middle of winter, he was covered in sweat.
Sweat had soaked through his cheap white undershirt, the sticky fabric clinging to his chest and back, and even his newly changed pants hadn't escaped, the cloth rubbing against his thighs, bringing constant discomfort.
But he couldn't help the corners of his mouth lifting into a smile.
He felt very happy.
He twisted his neck, then rolled his shoulders.
Having beco a Law Seeker, he could truly feel that his stamina and body had improved. At least this ti after washing clothes, he didn't feel much back pain.
It was easy, not tiring at all.
Just a bit too much sweat.
He had already taken off the vest he'd just bought and hung it up. Now he was only wearing a white shirt with two buttons undone.
It had been convenient for washing clothes at first, and now it helped him cool down.
Otherwise, this new vest would have been soaked with sweat too.
But even so, he still gently tugged at his collar, letting the fabric flap with a whooshing sound.
That would create a little breeze, helping him cool off slightly.
Creak.
Thump, thump, thump.
Accompanied by the creaking of the swaying stairs and footsteps, shadows shifted, and a figure leisurely climbed up.
Soone had co up to the second floor.
Falson paused, imdiately on guard, looking warily toward the stairs, worried that he'd been exposed and soone had co to catch him.
That would be bad, since he was still a rookie.
But soon, he relaxed again.
Because it wasn't the Enforcent Team coming, but Samuel, strolling back slowly.
He looked completely at ease, swaying as he walked, the hem of his clothes lightly swinging with his relaxed pace, that familiar smile Falson had co to know plastered on his face.
"Yo, what's up with you?" Samuel stopped a few steps away, his tone dragging lazily.
"What? Are you hot, little Falson?" Seeing Falson fanning himself to cool down, Samuel teased.
"A little," Falson nodded with a smile, wiped his sweat again, and pointed at the door behind him. "Just finished so physical labor. It does make you feel a bit hot."
Then, he added.
"But it's not bad. After all, it's winter, so warming up isn't such a bad thing."
"Haha." Samuel let out a short laugh. "Indeed, warming up isn't so bad."
He walked past Falson, stirring up a wave of hot air, passed by a few adjacent doors, and stopped at the hallway, looking toward the sky in the distance.
"Tell ," Samuel said suddenly without turning his head, "What do you think of this werewolf ga?"
"Uh? It's okay." Falson nodded, replying hesitantly.
He didn't really like the current situation.
Not only was he trapped here, but it had also cost him several days of wages.
He had already been absent from work for two days without a word. Even if he got out now, he'd probably have lost his job.
Although his talent and abilities ant he wouldn't be unable to find work or fall below the danger line, it still bothered him a bit.
But in his heart, he didn't actually complain that much, because it had brought him to Samuel.
Not only had he gotten to know the mysterious Samuel and earned so money from him, but he had even beco a Law Seeker.
So, deep down, he was actually a little grateful to the instigator of this ga.
Well, hating him and thanking him weren't mutually exclusive.
So Falson finally just gave a vague, neither-good-nor-bad answer.
"It's okay. Not sothing I particularly like or dislike."
"Is that so." Samuel leaned forward, resting on the hallway railing, tilting his head back. "You think it's okay."
"Mm. Not bad. But maybe so people don't think so."
"Mm." Falson responded.
He didn't really see a problem with that.
After all, it was normal to be annoyed about being trapped here. Not everyone could be as lucky as him, having a Samuel randomly pop up next to him.
"Tell , what's the fastest way to clear a werewolf ga?" Samuel continued staring at the sky, changing the subject again.
"Hmm..." Falson pursed his lips.
Although he could understand from his conversations with Samuel that this so-called werewolf ga referred to their current situation.
He had never actually played a ga called werewolf, so he wasn't in a position to judge.
But based on the current situation, he could take a wild guess.
"Everyone cooperates?" Falson tested. "Like, everyone forms an alliance, helps each other, and faces the Enforcent Team together."
"I heard the Enforcent Team isn't invincible. If all the outsiders are Law Seekers, it should be possible to fight our way out."
Samuel nodded, then shook his head.
"Your idea is idealistic, but not efficient enough."
"Guess again."
"Efficient..." Falson repeated.
He frowned and fanned himself again.
"Then is it..." A thought ca to mind, but he didn't voice it, instead changing his words. "Reporting everyone?"
"If you guessed it, why not just say it?" Samuel pulled his gaze back, still looking at the sky, and said with a smile.
Falson was a bit silent, feeling even hotter.
Samuel glanced at him. "Ah, you know the saying, 'Keep your heart calm, and you'll naturally feel cool.'"
"But right now, I'm afraid even if your heart stopped, you still wouldn't cool down."
"Uh... saying?" Falson looked confused, indicating he had never heard that phrase.
But he did notice so of the abnormality.
He also walked over to near Samuel, following his gaze to the sky.
In that mont, his eyes suddenly went wide.
"See it?" Samuel asked with a smile.
"See... I see it..."
Falson swallowed hard.
"Haha." Samuel had a pleased smile on his face. "Looks like soone couldn't sit still anymore."
There was a sun hanging in the sky. That was normal, as long as it wasn't a rainy or cloudy day, you could always see the sun during the day.
What wasn't normal was...
In the sky, there were two suns.
One of them was very close to them, almost directly overhead.
Since breaking the rules weakens you every ti, then if you want to clear the ga quickly, it's actually very simple.
That is...
Kill everyone here in one go.
