"Student Grant, who is your boyfriend? Can’t you say?" Vice Principal Chandler sat nonchalantly in his office chair, tapping the pen in his right hand lightly on the desk. He then tossed it aside and leaned back.
"Since you refuse to cooperate, you’re expelled!"
The sound of the pen hitting the desk rang out along with the words "you’re expelled," striking Clara Grant’s already anxious heart and startling her.
She began to feel nervous and afraid. As the anxiety mounted, the pressing need to use the restroom—which she had been putting off—ca rushing back, several tis more urgent than before.
Her hands clenched and unclenched. She looked at Vice Principal Chandler and mumbled, "Vice Principal Chandler, could I please use the restroom first?"
"The restroom? We’re discussing a serious matter!" Director Conway barked. Vice Principal Chandler said nothing, rely staring coolly at Clara Grant. It was obvious he tacitly approved of the director’s response.
Clara Grant’s bladder ached from the strain. She really couldn’t hold it much longer.
She didn’t want to wet herself in front of these two n. That would be a complete loss of dignity—even more humiliating than people mistakenly believing she got her part because of Seth Quinn!
Clara Grant’s previously curled hands were now clenched into tight fists. She moved her lips to speak but found her throat was too tight to make a sound.
She cleared her throat forcefully, finally finding her voice. "My boyfriend... is... is Qu..."
She had just uttered the syllable "Qu" when the office door was suddenly thrown open and soone burst in.
The three people in the room turned toward the door in astonishnt. A flash of anger appeared on Vice Principal Chandler’s surprised face. This was the vice principal’s office, after all. For soone to barge in without knocking was completely out of line.
However, the mont he saw it was Miles Quinn, the anger on his face vanished, replaced by a warm, amiable smile.
Though Miles Quinn was a student, in terms of status, he was also the second young master of the Quinn family and the younger brother of Seth Quinn, the CEO of Aegis Pictures. He was soone the Vice Principal dared not, and could not afford to, offend.
After a mont of surprise, Director Conway also plastered on the most cordial smile he could manage.
As for Clara Grant, her initial surprise gave way to sheer panic. ’Miles Quinn, what is he doing here?’
He had called her just a little while ago to congratulate her, and he hadn’t ntioned the photos on the school forum at all. Clearly, he hadn’t seen them.

"G-girlfriend?" Director Conway and Vice Principal Chandler asked in unison, their voices filled with shocked disbelief.
Miles Quinn nodded. "Yes, my girlfriend."
As he spoke, he gestured with his chin toward Clara Grant. "Clara. Clara Grant."
