Seeing Faye Jennings just decide on her own to sit next to Seth Quinn, she felt a little upset. ’Isn’t this completely disregarding , his official girlfriend—no, his official wife?’
But then she rembered that Faye Jennings was closer to Seth Quinn than she was, and besides, Faye had no idea she was his official wife.
’So, sitting with Seth Quinn could be explained, right?’
But she still felt a bit uncomfortable.
But what could she do about it? She was the one who wouldn’t let Seth Quinn announce their marriage. Who could she bla now?
Now, suddenly hearing Seth Quinn refuse to let Faye Jennings sit next to him, Clara Grant found herself secretly delighted.
’Hmph, good for him. At least he knows how to save so face.’
Clara Grant was so lost in her own thoughts that she didn’t notice anything strange about her own emotions.
Faye Jennings, who had been about to sit down, was struck by a wave of embarrassnt. ’Don’t n never refuse a woman who takes the initiative?’

With this in mind, Faye Jennings masked her embarrassnt and said with a faint smile, "Then I’ll just sit with Miss Grant."
As she spoke, she walked over to Clara Grant and was just about to take a seat.
But she was stopped again by Seth Quinn. "I’m also not used to other people sitting next to her."
This ti, Faye Jennings was utterly mortified. If she weren’t so deeply in love with this man, her pride would have made her turn and walk away long ago.
Seth Quinn, however, seed completely unconcerned with her feelings. After speaking, he crooked a finger at Clara Grant, beckoning her to co sit by his side.
Clara Grant was a little reluctant. ’Isn’t this just blatantly telling Faye Jennings that their relationship is sothing special?’
She was about to refuse, but when she caught his threatening gaze, she had no choice but to give in.
Giving Faye Jennings an apologetic smile, Clara Grant stood up, walked over to Seth Quinn’s side, and sat down, not forgetting to bring her steak with her.
Once they were settled, Clara Grant composed herself before looking at Faye Jennings again. "Miss Jennings, you... you know ?"
Unless she was hearing things, Faye Jennings had just called her Miss Grant.
Faye Jennings smiled. "Of course, I do. Have you forgotten? Last ti, at The Elysian Restaurant, Director Keane called out your na."
"You have a really good mory."
Clara Grant couldn’t help but be impressed. Faye Jennings was an A-list celebrity in the entertainnt world, a three-ti winner of the Best Actress award, while she was just an ordinary girl. That ti at The Elysian Restaurant, she had only stood at the entrance for a mont. She never expected Faye would actually rember her.
Hearing Clara Grant speak so formally to Faye Jennings made Seth Quinn extrely uncomfortable. He cleared his throat, interrupting their chat. "Let make a formal introduction. Faye Jennings, an artist under Aegis. And Clara Grant, my..."
The mont she heard him say "my," Clara Grant’s heart skipped a beat. Her eyes widened as she looked at Seth Quinn, her gaze filled with urgency and worry.
Seth Quinn knew she was afraid he would say, "she is my wife." As if deliberately teasing her, he drew out the word even longer, only continuing after he saw her start to look genuinely upset. "...my friend."
"Moreover, she will also be acting in *A Lifeti of Splendor*, so you two are about to beco colleagues."
The implication was that even without revealing Clara Grant’s identity, she and Faye Jennings were, at the very least, colleagues on equal footing. She didn’t need to use such deferential language with her.
