Clara Grant was desperately trying to keep a low profile, head bowed as she prepared to stand in the very back row. When all eyes suddenly turned to her in unison, she was mortified.

But this was an Aegis production, led by Director Liam Keane himself. All the actors he selected had to have genuine talent. How could they possibly cast soone who got the role through connections?
Therefore, the only explanation was that this Clara Grant, thinking she’d been cast in *A Lifeti of Splendor*, had let it go to her head and beco arrogant, not knowing her place.

Miles Quinn hadn’t noticed Clara Grant at first; he only saw her after Faye Jennings called out her na.
Although he was still adjusting to the sudden shift in her identity from a fellow student to his sister-in-law, he couldn’t just stand by and watch now that she was in an awkward predicant.
She was his sister-in-law, after all. He had to step in and help.

Clara Grant felt so of her tension secretly ease. Hearing Miles Quinn’s words, she forced herself to face the reporters’ caras as gracefully as she could and began to speak:
"I’m so sorry. There was a car accident on my way here that caused a huge traffic jam. I was so worried I’d be late that I took a shortcut. The path was harder to navigate than I expected, which is why I’m such a ss. Please excuse my appearance."
