Although they were whispering, the comnts still reached Sandra’s ears, one after another.
Hearing most of the crew suddenly switch sides, Sandra was so furious she nearly ground her teeth to dust.
’Clara Grant, you’re a good actress, you’re amazing, you’ve got the talent. So I deserved to have my role stolen by you!’
’This isn’t over. Just you wait!’
Holly Sumrs and Miles Quinn were genuinely happy for Clara Grant, giving her a big thumbs-up.
Faye Jennings, however, wore a cold expression. She hadn’t expected Clara Grant to actually have so skills; she had really underestimated her.
But in the next instant, her expression shifted again, replaced by a smile that seed happy for her.
Unbeknownst to anyone, ever since Clara Grant’s scene began filming, a man had been standing by the window of a room on the second floor of the building across from the set, directly facing the action.
Seth Quinn lit a cigarette, took a drag, and held it between his fingers, silently watching everything unfold across the way.
He took in Clara Grant’s entire performance. Seeing that she was in good form and the shoot was going smoothly, Seth Quinn seed to let out a sigh of relief, a smile touching his eyes as he gazed at her small figure.
Even after Clara Grant went to remove her makeup and was no longer in sight, Seth Quinn remained standing there, ramrod straight. The cigarette, from which he’d taken only a single drag, continued to burn silently between his index and middle fingers.
Behind him, Chase Childs finally couldn’t resist speaking up. "President Quinn, aren’t you going down to see Madam?"
He really couldn’t understand his boss. He had already left yesterday, yet he’d made a special call to Director Keane, instructing him to give everyone the afternoon off and officially start filming today instead.
It was obviously so that Madam could get a good rest, but he wouldn’t admit it.
And today, he’d had him drive all the way out here first thing in the morning, just to watch Madam from afar?
He didn’t get it. Why was the President always so concerned about Madam, yet also so at odds with her?
Perhaps he was just too slow to understand the complexities of romance.
A long ti passed after Chase Childs asked his question, but Seth Quinn didn’t answer. He only moved when he felt the cigarette between his fingers burning down to its end.
First, he stubbed out the cigarette butt in his hand and tossed it into the trash. Then he turned, and as he started walking out, he coolly said two words, "Heading back."
He had co just to see that she was all right; he didn’t need to et her face-to-face.
Though Chase Childs looked stunned, he still hurried to follow.

Clara Grant’s subsequent scenes went more and more smoothly. Her role wasn’t large to begin with, and with filming going so well, she had plenty of opportunities to study the script and watch other actors on set to learn from their experience.
Initially, she had only started studying acting and joined the film crew because of her lingering affection for Miles Quinn and a selfish desire to be close to him.
But gradually, she found herself falling more and more in love with acting, and she grew to enjoy studying, observing, and learning from the performance experience of others.
Eventually, she even forgot all about her original goal: to spend three months with Miles day in and day out, to use this film as a chance to tell him "I love you," and to bring her three-year-long secret crush to a perfect close.
