Sarah Shelby watched her extre reaction with amusent. It was as if she’d read her mind. "I don’t have any alcohol here today!" she said teasingly. "And even if you got drunk, I wouldn’t call Seth Quinn for you. If there’s sothing on your mind, why not just go talk to him face-to-face? Be direct, worry less. Wouldn’t that be better?"
Sarah Shelby, who had yet to fall in love herself, felt that love was simple—you either loved soone, or you didn’t. There weren’t, and shouldn’t be, so many reservations and second thoughts.
But what she didn’t know was that for so people, love wasn’t so black and white. Sotis, before you could finally love soone, you were bound to experience a period of hesitation, anxiety, and uncertainty.
Little did she know that before long, when she too found herself in love, she would be just like Clara was now: hesitant, wavering, and full of reservations.
Feeling exposed, Clara Grant’s face flushed. She tossed aside the throw pillow on her lap and shot to her feet. "I’m going back to the set so you can stop making fun of ."
"Hey, at least eat sothing before you go! You can’t keep going on an empty stomach," Sarah Shelby said, quickly calling out to her.
Clara Grant turned back, frowning at her. "How did you know I haven’t eaten?"
