If she was bold enough to show up dressed so casually to seduce him, then she must be quite confident in her looks and figure, right? He’d already seen her face; all that was left was to see the "assets" wrapped up under her clothes!
She finally understood when she saw his gaze fixed directly on her chest. The smile on her small face faltered, and her delicate brows furrowed in a frown.
’This man really is no good! So what if he’s handso? So what if he’s dressed to the nines?’

Although it was uncomfortable to crane her neck up at him, and it was already starting to ache, she kept her head tilted back, staring directly into his eyes.
Though she was scared and nervous inside, she forced herself to remain calm. In a level, even tone, she said, "Mr. Quinn, I’m here to make a delivery, not for you to get fresh with . I’ve delivered the item, so goodbye..."
’Ugh, more like good riddance! So what if you’re handso? So what if you’re rich and staying in a fancy hotel? How dare you so brazenly try to take advantage of !’
"Heh, playing hard to get?"
Clara Grant had just turned to leave when his voice, laced with mockery and sarcasm, rang out again.
Her hands slowly clenched into fists. She narrowed her eyes and bit her lower lip.
’Playing hard to get my ass!’
Clara Grant knew it was dangerous to stay, that she should run for it without a second thought. But sothing in her snapped. She turned back around, and when she faced the man again, a faint, charming smile was playing on her lips.
A delicate fragrance wafted toward Seth Quinn. When he focused his eyes, her fair, palm-sized face was already close to his. A soft, slender hand rested on his chest, toying idly with the collar of his shirt.
"Oh my, you saw right through ? It seems you’re very worldly, Mr. Quinn. No little trick can escape your discerning eyes!"
As she spoke, she patted his chest lightly and lifted her gaze to et his.
In that mont, Clara Grant’s eyes truly smoldered with seduction. She was the picture of flirtatious charm, yet without a hint of tackiness or vulgarity.
Coming from a woman with such an innocent face and simple dress, the seductive pose didn’t seem jarring or out of place.
Even Seth Quinn, who’d sized up more people than he could count, was montarily stunned.
He normally wouldn’t deign to even touch a woman who threw herself at him like this, but he found his hand irresistibly reaching for her small, upturned chin.
’Her skin looked so fair and smooth, and it felt just as good as it looked. Tsk, tsk, tsk, what a waste for such a stunner to be a woman with no sense of modesty or sha.’
"It’s just that, Mr. Quinn," Clara Grant spoke again, interrupting his thoughts, "aren’t you being a little too hasty?"
Suppressing the discomfort of his fingers pinching her chin, the light in Clara Grant’s eyes dimd for a fraction of a second before she was beaming again, snuggling even closer into his embrace.
Though the shadow in her eyes was fleeting, Seth Quinn caught it.
’This woman... she seems different from the others. More interesting.’
Seth Quinn mused to himself, but his expression remained impassive. A slight smirk played on his lips as he arched a brow. "Oh? So you like to take things slow? I, however, prefer to get straight to the point."
As he spoke, his other hand suddenly wrapped around her slender waist. He towered over her, looking down with an unreadable smile at the small woman held in his arms in their undeniably intimate embrace.
