"You!" Clara Grant was montarily speechless, her face turning bright red with shyness. "Don’t just say whatever you want! Who said I was your woman?"
"I’m going to marry you, which makes you my fiancée. Doesn’t that make you my woman?"
Today, she wasn’t deliberately putting on an act as she usually did, trying to exude a captivating charm. Instead, she was simply being her true self—shy, innocent, and reserved.
There was no coquettish seduction, no flirtatious posturing, yet she still held Seth Quinn’s gaze, making his heart and soul stir.
Watching her blush crimson, Seth Quinn suddenly felt like he could never get tired of looking at her.
Seth Quinn had never had his heart moved by a woman before, so he didn’t know if this was what people called falling for soone, but he knew that what he felt for Clara Grant was different from how he felt about other won.
It wasn’t easy for him to find a woman who was both easy on the eyes and physically compatible. Maybe he’d never et another one, or maybe he would, but that "maybe" was too remote for him. He was too lazy—too lazy to wait.
Therefore, he was determined to marry Clara Grant!

Clara Grant was once again choked with anger. Of course she knew she would lose that bet. No matter how much Director Keane thought of her or wanted to cast her, without the CEO’s approval, his hands would be tied!

Seeing that she had finally stopped her sharp-tongued retorts, a faint, almost imperceptible smirk of triumph appeared on Seth Quinn’s face. "So, if you want to get everything you desire, your only choice is to marry !"
’Marry him? The only reason I want to enter the entertainnt industry and act is so that one day I can be worthy of Miles Quinn, to stand by his side as an equal. If I marry soone else, then any chance of being with Miles Quinn will truly be gone forever.’

And so, Clara Grant looked at Seth Quinn with a very serious and solemn expression and began to say, "Marry..."
But she had only managed to say the word "marry" before Seth Quinn suddenly pulled her into his arms, leaving her completely stunned.
"You’re the one who said it!" The man’s lips curved into a smile. "Since I’m willing to marry and you’re willing to be wed, I’ll give you an engagent gift!"
The words had barely left his mouth when, before Clara Grant could react, the man’s lips were pressed against hers.

Clara Grant’s eyes instantly flew wide open. She stared blankly at the man’s long, thick, slightly lowered eyelashes, so close to her own, feeling the slight cool of his lips on hers as her mind went completely blank.
After a long mont, she finally snapped back to her senses.
’What the hell! This is the entrance to the restaurant, with so many people coming and going, and he just kissed in public?’
’Besides, what I was trying to say was "Marry you? Impossible!", not that I was agreeing to marry him!’
