Clara Grant froze, staring blankly at Seth Quinn’s profile. His expression was completely serious; he didn’t look like he was joking at all.
As if sensing her gaze, Seth Quinn turned to look at her and continued, "If you want to play the female lead, then the role is yours."
His answer left Clara Grant at a loss for how to respond.
After a few seconds of silence, she curled her lip into a sneer. "Talk is cheap."
This ti, Seth Quinn didn’t speak. Just as Clara Grant thought he’d been called out and had nothing more to say, there was a sharp SCREECH as he pulled the car over to the side of the road.

The call connected quickly. He spoke in a steady voice, "Follow my orders. For A Lifeti of Splendor, replace the female lead, Faye Jennings, with—"
