90: Recently I've Been Working Part-Ti as a Nun at the Church
Outside the suburbs of Wangyou City, in front of Miss Noren's villa.
"Truly surprising... to think such a luxurious building is hidden in the suburbs of Wangyou City..."
Looking at the luxurious mansion before her that was written as "villa" but read as "castle," Amya clicked her tongue in amazent. Standing beside her, Evelia held the ruby key to the Noren family and looked at Amya with resentnt.
Just monts ago, when Amya had been having her way with her, preparing to thoroughly "deepen" their relationship, Noren's subordinate bat suddenly barged in. It directly spoiled Amya's mood and successfully rescued Evelia from her predicant.
However... although Evelia was happy that she didn't let Amya succeed, her sense of sha... had also completely exploded the mont Noren's subordinate burst in.
In an instant, she suddenly understood why Noren had reacted that way when she barged into Noren's room back then and saw her and Lina being all lovey-dovey.
As for explanations, Evelia had thought about dragging Noren out to explain everything properly. But considering it would most likely get more confusing the more she explained, plus the fact that Evelia did have a tiny bit of affection for Amya, she ultimately gave up struggling and let Noren excitedly bombard her with questions from the side.
After the brief excitent passed, our Blood Clan Grand Princess finally rembered the purpose of sending her subordinate here. According to her, Lina had begged her to summon Evelia to the mansion no matter what. Lina had sothing very important she wanted to tell Evelia.
And what this "very important matter" was, Evelia didn't need to guess. It should be sothing related to Lina's sister, the Church Saint Jasmine.
"Eve-Eve, Eve-Eve! This is the place where that Blood Clan friend you ntioned before lives, right? That little elf girl nad Alice is here too, isn't she?"
Looking at the cold iron gate, covered in thorny vines and so old it seed to have been abandoned for countless years, Amya was unusually excited. For her, this was her first ti visiting a Blood Clan mansion. As an old weeb, she naturally felt incredibly expectant about this.
Just asking, is there a silver-haired maid in this house who likes to play with small knives, wears a maid outfit but doesn't act like a maid, and despite mastering ti-stopping uses it just to close doors? Or perhaps a legendary muscle-bound vampire with iconic blonde hair who likes wearing clothes with heart patterns, the kind that doesn't act human?
"Um... I have a feeling you're thinking sothing very rude..."
Looking at Amya's excited appearance, Evelia could tell at a glance what this girl was thinking. The reason was simple. She had thought the sa thing when she first ca.
"Ahem, move aside! I'm opening the door!"
Evelia coughed twice and expertly inserted the key in her hand into the lock in the center of the iron gate. With a gentle twist, the thorny vines that had been covering and entwining the entire iron gate instantly receded like lting snow in spring. The rust-covered iron gate, which had been full of decay and shabbiness, instantly beca brand new. The scarlet red paint on the gate was so vivid it looked like it would drip blood the next second.
"Eve-Eve, your movents are quite skilled. How many tis have you been here exactly?"
"Excuse ? You're getting jealous about this too!?"
Evelia helplessly rubbed her forehead. Amya's novel thought process plus her strangely focused attention points really gave her a slight sense of familiarity.
After all, her sister back then had a similar personality. Just not as perverted and wicked as Amya.
"Miss Evelia, and this... Miss Angel, welco to you both~"
As the gate slowly opened, Miss Lola, wearing a black and white maid outfit, appeared before them with a smile. Looking at Lola with her waist-length red hair, Amya's eyes narrowed slightly. If she rembered correctly, red-haired Blood Clan mbers should be the mark of the Ventrue lineage, right?
A noble of the Thirteen Clans' bloodline, why would she co here to work as a maid? It seems the identity of this mansion's owner... probably isn't as simple as just so great noble's daughter.
Before coming here, Evelia had briefly introduced Noren to Amya, but hadn't told her about Noren's identity as the Blood Clan Grand Princess. After all, in the eyes of the outside world, the Blood Clan's extrely mysterious Grand Princess, who almost never appeared at any noble banquets, should have been living deep within the imperial city all along.
"Please co this way, you two. The young... Young Miss has been waiting inside the mansion for quite so ti."
Out of habit, Lola had wanted to continue addressing Noren as "Her Highness the Princess," but just as she was about to say it, her scarlet eyes lightly swept over Amya standing beside Evelia, and she tily changed the address to Young Miss.
In her eyes, her own Princess's safety was definitely the top priority. Therefore, when outside, she would always be quite careful about concealing Noren's identity as the Blood Clan Grand Princess. And this golden-haired angel before her... although she appeared very likely to have sothing going on with Miss Evelia, after all, this Miss Demon and her own Princess could both be categorized as silly lolitas at the children's table. There was a significant possibility of being emotionally deceived by bad people with ulterior motives from the outside, so Lola still chose to keep her guard up.
"A Blood Clan noble's mansion... truly as expected... luxurious..."
Looking at the Gothic mansion before her, whose artistry was in no way inferior to the Wangyou Grand Cathedral, Amya's lips twitched slightly. The lifestyle habits of Blood Clan nobles were famously extravagant. So she had ntally prepared herself to be shocked before coming. However, reality told her... she had still underestimated the wealth of the Blood Clan...
Looking at the stained glass and Gothic relief patterns everywhere, then looking at this massive luxury villa, thinking about how such a house only had three people... oh no, now it should be four people living there, Amya couldn't help but silently curse "extravagant ghosts" twice in her heart.
"But by the way, Miss Evelia, this outfit you're wearing... it should be a Church nun habit, right?"
On the way to the mansion, Lola was chatting with Evelia as usual. And as they chatted... naturally the topic turned to the nun habit Evelia was currently wearing.
After all, a demon wearing a nun habit... was indeed quite rare.
"Mm, recently I've been working part-ti as a nun at the Church."
"Pfft... a demon working as a nun? I apologize for being sowhat improper, it's just that this kind of thing... is truly unprecedented..."
Lola considered that she had lived for so many years and seen all sorts of strange things. But a demon working as a nun... that was truly a first for her.
This made her can't help but suspect whether the guy responsible for baptism on the Church side had used fake holy water for the baptism. After all, no matter how clever the disguise, once a demon touched items like holy water... they would be exposed instantly...
