The architecture of the sect at Bichao Mountain differs from that of other places.
On this mountain peak, centuries-old ancient trees are densely packed, leaving little flat land. Apart from a clearing halfway up the mountain where the disciples’ residences are built, other functional buildings and pavilions are scattered among the woods, connected by cobblestone paths, showing elegance and tranquility.
The main hall for discussions is also set amidst a thick patch of ancient trees. At the ti of its construction, a clearing must have been made, but after hundreds of years, the dense trees have grown back, enveloping the entire hall in a sea of trees, even covering most of its golden summit.
At this mont, the new mbers of the Yunshan Sect, forrly the Zhou Family’s outsiders, have all been settled in the disciples’ residences, instructed not to wander around, to ditate peacefully, and wait for further arrangents.
The mbers of the Yunshan Sect are gathered in this hall, discussing various important matters after occupying this place.
Currently, seated at the main seat within the hall is the Sect Leader Lu Qian, at Late-Stage Qi Cultivation. Imdiately to his left is Honored Guest Elder, Foundation Establishnt Feather Scholar Guh Niqiang, and to his right, Honored Guest Elder, Late-Stage Qi Cultivation Master Xuan Ji.
Qingfeng Baitao, Tan Hong, Zhang Lei, and Lin Le are seated on both sides.
Jiang Qingfeng sits in the hall, listening to the seemingly never-ending sound of the sea of trees around him, feeling the abundant spiritual chanism here, watching Lu Qian speak eloquently, as if in a dream.
Our Yunshan Sect has truly reestablished the mountain gate!
Following the junior brother all the way here across waters and mountains, it feels like so much has happened. But counting on fingers, today is October 3rd; it’s been less than half a year since the sect was destroyed.
When Yun Mountain was destroyed, everyone felt as if the sky was falling. Who could have imagined soone, tasked urgently, would defy the odds, at a young age, with Qi Cultivation, crossing tens of thousands of miles, planning and establishing a new mountain gate in unfamiliar lands.
All this, it’s the junior brother’s achievent.
Jiang Qingfeng gazes dazedly at Lu Qian, who clearly has been fighting for a day and night but seems never to tire, his voice always clear and powerful, his gaze steady and determined.
Thinking this, Qingfeng suddenly feels distressed, only hoping that after reestablishing the mountain gate, they can live peaceful days, so the junior brother doesn’t have to labor so ardently anymore.
If the junior brother could have so leisure ti, I wonder...
"...Senior sister?"
In a daze, Lu Qian’s voice seems to co from afar, startling Jiang Qingfeng awake, focusing his gaze, eting Lu Qian’s concerned eyes.
"Senior sister, are you too tired? Why not rest for a mont?"
Jiang Qingfeng blushes instantly, waving her hands repeatedly, while Lu Qian smiles and nods, continuing to speak.
"Currently, our Yunshan Sect has 79 cultivators, including the 8 core mbers present, 32 cultivators from the forr Zhou Family outsiders, and 39 from the forr Chaosheng Sect."
Everyone’s expression slightly brightens, and particularly, Tan Hong and his spouse exchange delighted glances. In just a few days, Yunshan Sect has expanded several tis, nearing the original sect’s size, strictly in terms of numbers.
"There are 68 at Early-Stage Qi Cultivation, 8 at Mid-Stage Qi Cultivation, 2 at Late-Stage Qi Cultivation, and 1 Foundation Establishnt Feather Scholar."
When Lu Qian ntions the Foundation Establishnt Feather Scholar, everyone instinctively focuses on Guh Niqiang.
This unparalleled beauty yawns idly, her cold gaze sweeping over the crowd, who quickly bow their heads to avoid it.
Clearly, everyone understands quite well from the recent battle that without Guh Niqiang’s mighty power, it wouldn’t have been possible to hold this place; she, from this perspective, deserves great respect.
Yet her fierce attitude in battle not only terrifies the enemy but also causes unease among her own people, fearing they might accidentally provoke her.
Jiang Qingfeng suddenly feels sowhat inferior, as Elder Guh possesses high cultivation and stunning beauty, constantly assisting the junior brother, whereas he himself has been of little help all along.
Just then, Master Xuan Ji nods and says: "Although the number has multiplied, over half are with low cultivation and lacking allegiance, limiting usable manpower. Having seized this spirit vein, news will soon spread; the surrounding reactions are unpredictable. This Chongming County situation is chaotic; caution is required on our part."
Everyone nods. Originally, the two elders are just Honored Guests, typically not involved in sect affairs. But Master Xuan Ji considers Lu Qian and the others as family, hoping his array techniques will endure in the Yunshan Sect; despite being an Honored Guest, he is more dedicated than ordinary elders.
As for Guh Niqiang, she has a different reason.
Originally, Lu Qian casually invited her, not expecting her attendance. Unexpectedly, she keeps her master’s instructions in mind, wanting to learn from Lu Qian about adaptability in affairs, hoping to grasp the thod for breaking through the Golden Crow Grand Derivation True Technique, hence deciding to join.
Thus, although she is injured now, her resentnt at Lu Qian’s seemingly botherso words buzzing like flies seems to reach unbearable levels, yet she patiently stays, to Lu Qian’s surprise.
Lu Qian sighs: "Indeed, although we’ve won this battle, it’s still a ss, chaos everywhere requiring cleanup."
Tan Hong solemnly states: "Sect Leader, reestablishing the mountain gate isn’t easy. I might not know much, but whatever needs done, just instruct ."
This statent prompts nods from everyone, refocusing their gaze on Lu Qian, awaiting his commands.
