Boom!
Suddenly, a tremor exploded from afar and ca closer!
There were elental waves traveling at high speed from behind the Thousand-eyed Carcinus. Paired with a deep laughing voice, the waves closed in as it traversed along the void tunnel.
“Huhu! You can’t run away now, you inferior human!”
Just a mont ago, the black flas were still at the far end of the Infernal Spirit world gate. Now, it was only about a thousand ters away from the Thousand-eyed Carcinus. The Infernal God yelled in excitent and hatred.
The pair of pale blue eyes were set onto Grimm, colder and creepier than solid ice that had lasted 10,000 years.
Both Grimm and the Thousand-eyed Carcinus who had almost cald were now in a terrible shock!
“Roar!”
The Thousand-eyed Carcinus let out a deep growl similar to its wild instinct, disregarded its fatigued legs, and dashed forward using all of its energy. Its eyes were bloodshot with veins as they gaped wide open.
Grimm felt a chill run through his spine with cold sweat drenching his entire body. Goosebumps ford all over his skin while his face turned ghastly white.
The Infernal God was a gigantic creature, occupying almost the entire void tunnel with its black flas. For such a tyrannical creature, it would only take a pinch from it to...
“Ahh...”
The fear Grimm experienced was indescribable and he imdiately stood his weak body up disregarding the black flas that surrounded his body.
It all happened in a flash.
Grimm quickly removed his Mask of Truth that was covered with greyish-white stripes with one hand, while the other raised the Sabbatic Goat Staff.
Both his eyes seed to be filled with a mixture of feelings, unwilling to let go of past mories but at the sa ti, unable to resist the hunger and hope toward the future that awaited.
Suddenly, a loud jingling was heard as the white rhombic crystal shattered into pieces and spread across the air.
Ding!
It was as if the crispy crackling sound was from the deepest parts of his heart.
All of a sudden!
Frost Energy ca in like a giant wave in a stormy sea as Grimm tried his hardest to maneuver the magical power far beyond his capabilities to control.
The energy that ca in suddenly was in excess, much more than what Grimm could handle. This ant that he could cast out any amount of sorcery he wished as long as he was able to control it.
His golden hair was set upright by Frost Energy, while his sorcerer’s robe was also covered with a layer of ice.
There were white snowflakes surrounding the air around Grimm. Biting cold wind ford into miniature tornados that hurtled around the frost, causing clumps ice to accumulate on his eyebrows and hair.
“Ah!”
Biting hard into his lips, Grimm tried to control the excessive amount of Frost Energy. Then, hundreds of thousands of ice birds appeared from the integration of the cold wind and the ice crystals.
“Thousand Birds Frost Burst!”
Grimm yelled loudly, and suddenly the densely packed ice birds stread at the direction where the Sabbatic Goat Staff pointed at as if it was a flowing river that was frozen.
Poof, poof, poof, poof, poof, poof...
As the frozen river flew, the ice birds exploded continuously and ford into huge pieces of ice crystals that soon accumulated into an ice wall.
The Thousand-eyed Carcinus took advantage of the force from the explosions and sped up to dash forward and escape at a speed far exceeding its maximum capability.
Grimm acted as if he had gone crazy.
As if losing all sanity, he released all of his magical power without any reserve causing the waves of the icy river that was ford by the flowing ice birds to growl and pound wildly.
Being a Level 1 sorcerer himself, the first ti when Grimm had offended the mighty World Lord was when he chose to adhere to objectives and stay firm on his beliefs during a mission that he had taken when he was a Dark Sorcerer. This ti, it was purely because of the natural survival instinct that had driven him insane.
Not every low-level creature would dare to make the first move in going up against lifeforms of a higher level.
“It’s useless! Your struggle will not change anything!”
As it growled, the black flas ramd through the layers of ice imdiately transforming them back to their original elental state.
Grimm remained unaffected by the surroundings and closed his eyes. He let out a deep growl like a beast as ice birds continuously appeared from the top of the Sabbatic Goat Staff. They rushed toward the direction of the black flas.
The gigantic hand covered in black flas took a wave toward Grimm and t the ice birds which all exploded at once. The explosions, however, seed ineffective in blocking the gigantic hand.
The hand started to move carefully.
Unlike the previous ti, the gigantic hand moved cautiously trying to not trigger vibrations in the void tunnel that might cause it to collapse.
Grimm and the Thousand-eyed Carcinus were almost crushed by the gargantuan hand. Even Grimm’s robe started to disintegrate and disappear, and the brownish-red hair on the back of the Thousand-eyed Carcinus had already turned into ashes.
Under the massive pressure, Grimm had great difficulty trying to breathe. It was also difficult for the Thousand-eyed Carcinus to move forward as if stuck in a pool of mud.
Boom!
Suddenly, a light flashed briefly from Grimm and the Thousand-eyed Carcinus, before completely disappearing from the void tunnel.
“Roar...disgusting!”
The Infernal God pushed the layers of ice in anger and roared, “You can’t run away! You can’t run away! You can’t run away!”
A similar light flashed from the Infernal God too and it imdiately felt that it had moved to a different world as the surroundings blurred.
It imdiately felt the familiar feeling of being stuck in a narrow aperture space, while extending its head surrounded by flaming black flas out into the Burrow World gate.
Its gigantic hand was no longer restrained and it could continue to release wild energy again. Without any rcy, it imdiately pushed toward the direction of Grimm and Thousand-eyed Carcinus who had just entered the Burrow World. It roared excitedly, “You can’t run away... run...”
There was a short mont of silence when every movent in the surroundings paused. The Infernal God felt as if its heartbeat had stopped as looked around the Burrow World’s surroundings with its pale blue eyes.
“This... this... can’t be real?!”
The upper part of the Infernal God’s body was stuck between the gate of the Burrow World. It extended its gigantic hand out further and was about slam onto the Thousand-eyed Carcinus and Grimm. At the sa ti, he was closing his eyes and constantly releasing an insane amount of ice birds.
They were now about to fall into the crushing hands of the Infernal God as if toys for its pleasure.
However...
The sky was covered completely by hundreds of thousands of soul slaves that had ford into an army of creatures, similar to the surroundings of the Infernal Spirit World. They surrounded and blocked the gate of the Burrow World.
There were almost a hundred Bright Demon-Hunters lined up closely which then ford up into a square. The elental lights from all of the demon-hunters joined together into a glowing ribbon.
Voidships about 300 ters in length were arranged in a line with their attached Occult Pulverizers aid toward the world gate. Icy light that reflected off the tal ford into a ring of light that was similar to the giant crest of a deep valley, releasing a terrifying amount of energy to its surroundings.
Within the surroundings of the world gate...
“Hehe, hehehe, hehehe, hehehe!”
Another black gigantic hand appeared. It was about a hundred ters wide, around the sa width as the skull of the Infernal God. The gigantic hand was icy cold, cruel and ruthless as it grabbed the skull that was covered with black flas.
The gigantic hand gripped the skull hard much like a sorcerer that was holding a pair of ears from a rabbit specin sitting on top of a laboratory workstation.
With a loud “boom”, the gigantic hand captured firmly onto the skull of the Infernal God.
“Hehehe, got you, you can’t run now!”
The threatening, evil, and excited laugh ca from Black Isotta that guarded the world gate.
Another booming sound ca out and another gigantic hand from Black Isotta that was filled with energy gripped the other side of the skull with both hands forming into a circular ring.
“No!”
The Infernal God let out a moan in despair desperately trying to get back into the void tunnel.
It was a powerful creature that was horrifying and indescribable, more haunting than the First Acraepoid King; as terrifying as an ancient primordial creature.
As the creature was from ancient tis, it was sothing the Infernal God was incapable of going against!
The struggle and growls from the Infernal God did little to help its escape into the world gate.
As if both of the black gigantic hands had implanted roots within the skull of the Infernal God, the Infernal God continued struggling while Black Isotta continued the excited and evil laughter.
It was then that the gate of the Burrow World started to burst from the massive pulling force of the gigantic hands. The Infernal God was forcefully pulled out bit by bit.
“Nooo...”
The Infernal God let out a final growl before being dragged into the Burrow World by a giant transford by Black Isotta, a giant that stood up to a thousand ters tall.
A booming sound was heard as the palm of the giant slapped onto the surface of the ground.
Boom!
Tremors spread across the ice-caked ground of the Burrow World, and waves of deafening sounds blasted from the impact of the fallen Infernal God.
A mont later, the ground of the Burrow World cracked and ford a pit that spread across the ground tens of thousands of ters wide. As soon as the ice on the surface of the ground cracked, it imdiately lted and evaporated into steam.
The giant pit was about few hundred ters in depth.
The Infernal God was in disbelief as it looked up to the sky where the thousand-ter black giant stood, a giant that was surrounded by excessive energy forces that were impossible to control.
Unintentionally, small bouts of energy slipped out of its control and caused collapses around the surrounding space.
“Is this...the legendary god of all gods?
Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!
Four shadows that had been transford by Stigmata Sorcerers cast out four deadly strikes toward the Infernal God that was resisting desperately.
A mont later, the surrounding ground was scattered and smashed. Mountains were being flattened, and hundreds of irregularly shaped holes appeared on the ground which resulted from the earlier impact.
“My Lord! You may save your magical power now! The mission has ended!” roared the Thousand-eyed Carcinus roared in grief.
Grimm slowly cleared his thoughts blurred from fear and looked around the familiar surroundings.
The top of his Sabbatic Goat Staff was still releasing endless amounts of ice birds toward the world gate.
“It is over?”
A motionless Grimm fainted on the back of the Thousand-eyed Carcinus with a plop.
The black flas that had lted the Ivory Armor covering Grimm’s body seed to drill into it.
