Seven months later, at the Bloodbreak Frenzy Fighting Arena.
This is the edge of the Tri-Star Abyss, just a few days’ journey from the bounds of the Abyss, ascending to the surface of the Abyss Continent.
The concentration of Abyssal Demonic Qi on the Abyss Continent is relatively low, with drastic day-night temperature differences and brutal, unpredictable weather. Here, powerful creatures exiled due to the rules of various Abyssal Holy Towers survive in the harsh environnt.
Among these exiles are formidable abyssal creatures comparable to the top-level Abyssal Demon Dragons, exotic slaves who have escaped from various Beastfighting Arenas, exiled wizards who have violated the rules of the Abyssal Holy Towers, and even so ancient demon servants left behind by the Naless Ancient Demons!
In the Underground Abyss World, although the strongest are always at the deepest part of the abyss, without a doubt, every creature that has lived on the surface of the Abyss Continent for a long ti is a strong one beyond dispute.
Simply crossing the Abyss Continent, from one abyss to another, requires creatures capable of withstanding the harsh environnt of the abyssal continent’s surface, with a minimum requirent of at least 150 points of Physique.
And to survive for a long ti in such harsh conditions, even Second-Order Creatures must be cautious, facing each day that could be their last.
The roars in the Arena surged one after another, screaming with all their might.
Of course, the quality and scale of gladiators here cannot compare to the Holy Tower Arena, and most battles are between body-refining sorcerers and captured exotic slaves.
"Next up, the Bloodbreak Frenzy Fighting Arena has prepared a worthy opponent for the mighty gladiator Klunk, promising everyone an exhilarating, bloody battle. Let’s cheer to our hearts’ content!"
In recent days, the body-refining sorcerer known as Klunk had beco the main attraction in the arena, with eleven consecutive wins under his belt, his signature being the tal chains connecting a battle axe.
Green and Xiao Ba sat in a corner of the arena, with no one around.
The reason for coming to this arena was partly because Xiao Ba clamored for the Enigmatic Thousand-Headed Bird to learn the instinct of killing, and partly because Green was researching the abyssal demonic qi and the genetic information cracks of the Life Code. The appearance of this Naless Ancient Demon’s bone had indeed marked a breakthrough for Green!
Green discovered that the Naless Ancient Demon could refine its body through abyssal demonic qi, freely controlling the genetic information of its body, evolving its body to adapt specifically to any environnt, and its genetic information internally contained countless fields of biological lineage similar to an ancestor of humans.
Precisely for this reason, when Wild Body-Refining Wizards start out, they must rely on so abyssal demonic qi to passively open internal Life Code cracks.
This is truly terrifying.
If Green could uncover the secret of the Naless Ancient Demon controlling its genetic information, and apply it to self-control for his human body, then a new witchcraft based on the knowledge of Life Code would be born after "Glen Holy Body Transmutation Great Witchcraft" and "Green’s Triple Secret Grand Witchcraft."
This witchcraft is related to Life Code cracks, where at tis, the cracks will no longer be cracks but a door opening to a seal!
Without a doubt, the Life Code crack that Green opens is directly related to opening his Wild Instinct more easily, signifying the diminishing guiding abilities of the ancestor of humans’ genetic information.
And if this seal door could be controlled, it would an Green could freely transition between the evolutionary path of a Barbarian Giant and that of a wizard.
Simply put, Green will find it easier to access deep Wild Instinct, while maintaining the Wild Instinct Transformation will no longer consu physical strength, but rather the Magic Power used to open the Life Code cracks!
Green imrsed himself in his study of wizard knowledge, as if isolated from the vibrant roars of the arena, a world apart.
Amid the waves of cheers, the sound of tal chains clanking open the tal cage, a seven-ter-long lion wrapped in red flas, stepped out step by step, instantly pushing the Arena’s excitent to its peak.
"Klunk’s opponent is... the Blazing Lion from the Great Wild Soul Prairie World! The king of the Wild Soul Prairie, the apex predator of the food chain, a formidable fighter with seventy-nine consecutive victories in the Bloodbreak Frenzy Fighting Arena. Let’s roar and cheer!"
Boom, boom, boom...
The giant lion gazed across the Arena at the body-refining sorcerer on the other side, wearing a tal mask, wrapped in chains, gripping a chain with a battle axe spinning around. It stood up on its hind legs, its fiery eyes filled with a terrifying coldness, as it spoke in Wizard Language, "No more than one-tenth of an hourglass, and I will tear you apart!"
Buzz, buzz, buzz...
Klunk, the body-refining sorcerer, swinging the chain battle axe, was montarily stunned before he sneered under his simple tal helt, sinister and nacingly saying, "Tonight’s dinner is you."
Boom, boom, boom...
In the stands, Xiao Ba said to the Enigmatic Thousand-Headed Bird beside him, "See that, you need to be like that guy..."
After watching a dozen beastfights, Green took Xiao Ba and the Enigmatic Thousand-Headed Bird backstage at the arena, where so powerful body-refining sorcerers personally welcod Green, their status in the Underground Abyss equivalent to the Wizard Academy Headmaster on the Wizard Continent. Elegant exotic slaves graciously served fine wine.
"Welco to the Bloodbreak Frenzy Fighting Arena, esteed Elental Wizard from the Wizard Continent. I hope the gladiator entertainnt arranged for you was satisfactory?"
The smart and vigorous witch radiated vitality from within.
"Gahaha, not bad, not bad, so it was specially arranged..."
Xiao Ba laughed.
Green gestured to the exotic slave to take away the served wine, and then, unhurriedly, perford the Wizards’ Etiquette to the body-refining sorcerers, exuding an aura of nobility, erudition, wisdom, and mystery, distinctly different from the atmosphere of brutality, excitent, blood, and struggle of the body-refining sorcerers.
"Thank you, masters, for your hospitality. To be honest, besides enjoying the splendid duels here, I’m also here to collect so information on the Naless Ancient Demons. I wonder if the masters could..."
"Naless Ancient Demons!"
Although many wizards know so information about the war between the Ancient Wizarding World and the Abyssal World, few wizards can na those Abyssal Demon Lords’ Naless Ancient Demons, especially outside the Underground Abyss.
"Honestly, master, anything about the Naless Ancient Demons in the Underground Abyss World must be submitted to the Holy Towers, and we can’t provide much convenience for the master—it’s the rule of the Abyssal Holy Towers!"
Green furrowed his brow slightly, sighed inwardly, and nodded in understanding.
But just as Green was about to leave, a male wizard in steel armor suddenly said, "Master might try on those exiles on the Abyss Continent’s surface, or even if so fugitives wanted by the Holy Towers, if the master could kill them, you could earn a handso bounty from their corpses."
"Exiles, you an... those ancient demon exiles’ servants?"
Green nodded, saying solemnly, "Understood." (To be continued. If you like this work, please co to Qidian (qidian) to cast recomndations and monthly votes. Your support is my greatest motivation. Mobile users, please read on m.qidian.)
