"Not your soul—I know you won’t give that up easily. But I want you as my contractor instead." She reached up to cup my cheek, her thumb brushing against my skin gently.
"Only then can I leave Isabella’s body and exist on my own terms." Her gaze searched mine intensely, as if trying to gauge my reaction to her proposal.
"What do you say, hybrid? Are you willing to bind yourself to in exchange for Isabella’s freedom?" The air between us crackled with tension as we stared at each other, the weight of her request hanging heavy in the space.
"I suppose its a different kind of contract than the possession one, is it like sharing my mana to help you materialize in this world or sothing like that" I guessed since if it was a possession kind.

"No!" I simply denied, and in response to my rejection.
phistopheles recoiled as if struck, her eyes widening in shock and hurt.
"Eh?" she echoed, her voice small and vulnerable—a stark contrast to her usual confident deanor.
"You... you don’t want to make the deal?" She sat up slowly, pulling away from and wrapping her arms around herself protectively.
"I thought... I an, I assud..." She trailed off, biting her lip as she struggled to comprehend my refusal.
"Why not?"she asked finally, her gaze searching mine with a mix of confusion and disappointnt.
"Is it because of Isabella?Or is it just that you don’t trust ?"
I sighed as it seems she didn’t get my answer properly.
"I an not now, first you need to help uncover what Isabella’s father is up to and cooperate with to bring him down only after this whole ss is resolved can I accept your proposal" I explained clearly my reasons and further said "So to progress with this plan I might need to act as if you succeed in controlling ".
phistopheles blinked, taken aback by my sudden change in tone.
"Oh," she said slowly, processing my words. "I see."A small, reluctant smile tugged at the corner of her lips.
"You’re not rejecting outright... you just want to postpone our deal until after we’ve dealt with Austin."She tilted her head, considering with newfound respect.
"That’s... surprisingly clever of you, Valerian."Her eyes glead with a hint of excitent as she leaned in closer.
"Going undercover as my puppet... I like the way you think.
"She reached out to trail a finger along my jawline, her touch light and teasing. "So, what’s the plan? How do you propose we infiltrate Austin’s little sche?"
phistopheles’ hand brushed against my hardness as she leaned in to hear my plan, and she bit her lip, a flush creeping up her neck.
"So—" I began to explain my plan.
But unfortunately...
"Umm... maybe we can talk about this later," she murmured, her voice husky with renewed desire.
I was interrupted by her...
"For now..." She trailed off, her eyes flicking down to where our bodies touched before eting my gaze again with a mischievous glint.
"Perhaps we should... celebrate our new partnership?" She pressed herself against , her breasts crushing against my chest as she nuzzled into my neck.

I felt my body responding to phistopheles’ touch despite my initial reluctance, the incubus instincts within stirring to life..
"Damn it," I muttered under my breath, trying to ignore the growing heat between my legs.

I accused her, my voice strained as I fought against the urge to give in to her seduction.
phistopheles just smiled, a knowing look in her eyes as she felt my hardness pressing against her.
"Oh, but you’re not resisting very hard," she teased, grinding her hips against mine.
"Co on, Valerian. Let’s have so fun before we get back to scheming." She leaned in to capture my lips in a searing kiss, her tongue delving into my mouth with hungry abandon.
My hands gripped her hips instinctively, pulling her closer as I lost myself in the sensation of our bodies pressed together.

I heard phistopheles’ annoyed voice as she glared at "So? What’s the plan going forward, since I did what you told : To act like a villain and make the heroes assemble or whatever..".
She asked but her voice suggested she wasn’t even a tad bit interested in the topic.
Since obviously she needed to hear ’my’ plan instead of doing whatever she wants freely.
"Sigh....Can you stop being annoyed" I facepald and walked up to sat on the bed in the room. "For now We’ll wait for Aisha and Liliana to co up with a plan"
phistopheles raised her eyebrow at my words as she mumbled "so in the end we are dependent on those fools don’t you understand that Sigh..."
phistopheles sighed and crashed down on the mattress besides .
"Damnit! Why did I have to take this gamble arghh!" She vented her frustration on the pillow as she started biting with her teeth.

"Is there sothing....that I am missing out?" I muttered since I thought that those two might co up with a good plan to counter phistopheles.
And by betraying Austin at the opportune ti after learning of his plan, it should be enough to defeat him.

"Sigh..." phistopheles sighed again and glanced at with curious eyes "Do you know about the Differences in power in The noblesse phase?".
I made a confused face at her ntion of those words, but then I rembered.

"You an the second phase of power levels after Origin level 4 if Rember correctly". I answered since I only know until the fourth level.
Since after that....well.
I had a horrible teacher...I don’t want to rember her if I can help it.
phistopheles nodded but with a strange look "It’s strange but I suppose it’s understandable since from Isabella’s mories i know you are new to this side of the world, but..." she paused and stared at .
"How the heck are you as strong as an Origin level 5:Lord then?" She mumbled as she examined my features until understanding dawned upon her face.
"Hmmm, Maybe that’s possible..." she thought to herself then said to "Valerian can you undo your hybrid or whatever transformation it is"
She pointed towards my Horns and Ears, it seems I forgot to go back to normal after phistopheles kidnapped .
’Haha to think I didn’t notice, maybe this form is more natural to be than my base one’ I chuckled dryly in my mind and swiftly undoed my transformation.
This made phistopheles nod again but this ti her she had clearly realized the root of her confusion.
"Valerian... It seems sohow your Hybrid form can break the barrier between phases" she started explaining her understanding and traced her fingers on my body subtly scanning it with mana.
"It should be impossible since the chasm that divides the phases is not small but sohow you can do it, originally your power level is around Origin level 4 far weaker than your Hybrid form" she glanced into my eyes and whispered "I wonder what other secrets you hide?".
I ignored her last comnt and pondered.
So I am still Origin Level 4...
But for so reason I can break the barrier with my Hybrid form...
’Ah maybe I should na it sothing else calling it hybrid every ti feels dull’. I thought and turned my attention back to phistopheles who was looking at like a rare animal.
"So can you explain this ’noblesse phase’?"
I asked since I desperately needed more information.

phistopheles understanding my curiosity cleared her throat and began explaining.
