Yan Ke curved his lips into a smile: "My brother will be back for Great-Grandfather’s birthday, you’ll see him then, won’t you?"
Zhu Fang nodded: "True, I’ll make sure to get his autograph."
Seeing Zhu Fang’s unseemly excitent, Yan Ke felt like kicking him, but he resisted the urge.
At this mont, a young man walked in from outside, "Guess who I just saw?" he said, squinting with a mischievous smile.

The young man happily scurried off, while ng Junci hesitated for a mont, rising to her feet and walking over to him, softly saying: "Yan Ke, there’s sothing I want to tell you."
Yan Ke gave her a cold glance: "If there’s anything to say, say it here."
ng Junci bit her lip, "Forget it then," and turned to sit back down.
Yan Ke’s lips curled slightly, the scattered light casting a cool, detached glimr in his eyes.
A short while later, the young man returned, chuckling: "All done. Don’t worry, Master Yan, Yan Qi will never know who did it."
Yan Ke stood up, languidly saying: "It’s getting late, let’s head back."
A group of people bustled out, while ng Junci lingered, following behind Yan Ke closely. When most of the people had left, she whispered: "Yan Ke, I really have sothing to tell you."
Yan Ke paused his steps but did not turn around.
ng Junci gathered her courage and said: "My mom wants to get engaged to your brother, but I’ve never even t him, and I don’t like him...."
I like you. If you would just say a word to stop it, no matter how difficult, I’d rather endure my mother’s wrath....
"My brother?" Yan Ke suddenly turned, casting a sardonic glance at the girl in front of him. It passed so quickly she didn’t notice.
The girl before him was in the pri of her youth, her skin fair and tender, her presence exuding an innocent charm like a lily untainted by the world. Especially at this mont, her eyes were red with tears, giving her an air of helplessness and vulnerability that easily stirred a man’s protective instincts.
She was quite a beauty in her own right, but compared to Sister Yun Ya, she still fell far short.
