Outside the airport pickup area, a tall figure stood out prominently, easily spotted without any effort.

At a height of one ter ninety, he towered above the crowd like a crane amongst chickens, wearing a coffee-colored leather jacket, his skin dark. A scar that seed to cut across half his face made him look a bit formidable, causing people around him to instinctively keep a distance of one ter.

Seeing the two people, he waved his hand, his face revealing a surprise.

Ji Die was stunned. Why was it him?

As the two walked out, the man imdiately stepped forward to take Ji Die’s luggage and looked at Yun Ya with a slight smile.

"Miss, welco back."

That fierce scar didn’t seem so jarring anymore.

Casting a glance at Ji Die from the corner of his eye, the tips of his ears turned slightly red.

Yun Ya sighed inwardly. Those coming from the Ji Family were always so devoted.

"Uncle Chang, you’ve worked hard all these years."

Chang Hong scratched his head sheepishly, "It’s what I should do. But Miss, you’ve changed so much, I nearly didn’t recognize you."

Yun Ya smiled. Before she left the country years ago, she had left Uncle Chang in charge at ho, letting him play to his strengths, and Uncle Chang had not let her down. In the ten years since, they had always kept in touch; Uncle Chang had protected her, as promised, devoting his life to her protection.

"I’ve already found a place. Let’s go have dinner first, then we can rest." Chang Hong organized the plans and prepared to leave with their luggage.

Just then, a scream erupted from the crowd behind them.

"The Sect Hierarch has appeared..."

"My idol..."

"Ming Han, brave in flight, followers of the Bright Sect forever united..."

"Just as the sky cannot be without the sun, the Bright Sect cannot be without Ming Han..."

The unified chant, clear and powerful like a trumpet call, echoed through the airport hall, stirring the heart and nearly deafening Yun Ya...

Ming Han?

Yun Ya halted, turning to look over.

From the special passage, a slender and upright figure walked out slowly, dressed in Gucci casual wear with a mask and sunglasses, hands in pockets, both trendy and cool.

Ten years had passed, and the once young celebrity had beco an "old at," jokingly speaking. Now in his early thirties, Ming Han was at the golden age for n.

The parent-child reality show had catapulted his popularity, and he’d struck while the iron was hot, starring in several movies. Hardworking and committed, Ming Han reaped the rewards of his efforts. Five years ago, with the role of a simple and kindhearted teacher in "Country Teacher," he swept all major dostic awards, rising to the top ranks of actors. With his hands full of accolades and soaring popularity, his career path beca even smoother. Today, he was the highest-paid male star, with endorsent deals left and right.

His fans were called the Bright Sect, reminiscent of the Bright Sect from the martial arts novel "The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber." They affectionately dubbed him the Sect Hierarch, a title that had beco ingrained in people’s hearts. Whenever soone ntioned the Sect Hierarch, Ming Han was the person who ca to mind.

As soon as Ming Han stepped out of the passageway, he was surrounded by his enthusiastic and frenzied fans, hardly able to move.

He lifted his sunglasses, ti leaving little trace on his handso features, instead adding a mature and profound charm that was even more enticing.

He greeted his fans with a smile, appearing very approachable. Whether soone wanted an autograph or a photo, he was patient and accommodating.

Yun Ya just took a quick look and turned away, saying indifferently, "Let’s go."

Yet Ji Die softly asked, "Yaya, isn’t that man the actor who played your dad in the variety show you participated in as a child?"

Yun Ya curved her lips slightly, "Seems like it."

Ji Die imdiately gushed with stars in her eyes, "So handso... much more than back then. Mature n really are the most charming..."

Upon hearing this, Chang Hong couldn’t help but darken his face, thinking, just a pretty boy, unable to shoulder burdens or handle work. Aside from a face, what good was he?

His grumbling, of course, went unheard by Ji Die, who couldn’t help but look back at Ming Han once more.

"Cough cough, it’s going to be dark soon, Miss, we really should hurry." It was a roundabout way of telling Ji Die to stop looking, or it would be nightfall.

Seeing this, Yun Ya couldn’t help but laugh.

Uncle Chang was indeed endearingly awkward.

——

Ming Han, surrounded by his fans, suddenly glanced outside the crowd, his gaze briefly landing on a graceful figure, causing him to pause for a mont.

The next mont, however, he was drawn back by the frenzy of his fans, and the fleeting thought in his mind didn’t have a chance to take hold.

——

Chang Hong was driving a Toyota Prado, a rugged SUV that suited his fra well.

Ji Die settled into the car and looked at Chang Hong driving: "It seems you’ve done quite well for yourself these past years."
