With honor ca loss.

She smiled wryly, weighing gains against losses. A choice between a fish and a bear’s paw; why be so lodramatic?

At this mont, the green light ca on again, and Yun Ya crossed the street with the crowd.

Jiangzhou First People’s Hospital is located at No. 1 People’s Avenue, Gu’an District. It covers about 200,000 square ters and has a history of more than one hundred years, serving as a comprehensive three-tier hospital integrating healthcare, teaching, and research.

Walking into the hospital and finding the office building, Yun Ya saw the sign and headed straight to the fifth-floor Administration Director’s office.

A group of young people surrounded the office door, resus in hand, each with a hint of anxiety on their faces, occasionally casting hopeful, nervous glances toward the office.

Unfortunately, she had arrived during job interviews.

Yun Ya walked up and knocked, but a woman with a ponytail couldn’t help frowning as she said, "Don’t you know you have to stand in line?"

Unperturbed, Yun Ya continued her "knock knock knock," rapping on the door three tis.

The woman’s voice drew the attention of several people, who turned to see a very attractive, poised young woman, though she appeared to be quite young.

So, a young man asked, "Little sister, did you graduate from high school already? Why join the commotion here? Get in line if you want to interview."

"Exactly, with that lack of manners, no interviewer is going to pass her."

"Kids these days, they have no manners at all...."

As Yun Ya listened to the mocking comnts around her, her expression remained unchanged. Soon, soone opened the door with a displeased face, and barked, "What’s all this knocking for, don’t you know you have to queue..."

"Hello, please give this resu to Director Zhao," said the girl in a crisp, gentle voice, which seed to stun the agitated assistant for a mont. On seeing the girl’s face, the assistant bashfully lowered his head.

He took the resu, and his attitude softened significantly, "Alright, wait here."

Then he closed the door.

Several girls couldn’t help but roll their eyes. Did being pretty actually have its advantages?

It was still the girl with the ponytail who glanced at Yun Ya disdainfully, full of arrogance and scorn, "These days, people are just daydreaming. Becoming a doctor isn’t so simple. Take a good look in the mirror and see if you’re cut out to be a doctor."

The girl stood silently, her deanor exuding an inexplicable elegance and tranquility. Compared to the aggressive girl with the ponytail, she was a sight for sore eyes, so graceful and refined. The guys couldn’t help but steal glances at Yun Ya, yet deep down, they thought the ponytail girl had a point.

Indeed, becoming a doctor isn’t easy. This girl looks just like a high school student. Little sister, this isn’t a place you can handle.

"Nana," a delicate-looking girl next to her nudged her, whispering, "Don’t be like that, she might be our colleague one day, you know?"

The girl nad Nana rolled her eyes and spoke with contempt, "Her? Please, as if that could happen."

She graduated from Jiangzhou dical University. She could have beco a formally-appointed doctor in the hospital just by acing the unified recruitnt exam organized by the Health Bureau. But she had a fever of over 39 degrees Celsius during the written test and perford poorly, thus getting eliminated. She had no choice but to take part in the hospital’s own recruitnt process. However, this was only a contract position, where the hospital could dismiss you at any mont, far inferior to a permanent staff appointnt in terms of benefits—a fact even a fool would know.

Nonetheless, her family was wealthy; her father had donated a significant sum to the hospital, which essentially opened this backdoor for her. Still, she had to go through the motions. She was certain of her success, and therefore, looked down on everyone else.

Yun Ya, however, ignored the irritating mocking around her, her deanor serene, entirely unaffected.

The girl’s calm exterior made it feel like punching cotton; it was frustratingly soft and only made people angrier.

"Did you not hear talking to you? Are you deaf or dumb?" Lau Nana took steps towards Yun Ya, clearly looking to cause trouble, while the delicate-looking girl quickly followed, trying to calm the situation with a hidden smile in her eyes.

A cold glint briefly flashed through Yun Ya’s downcast eyes, then vanished.

In her lifeti, she detested hearing the words "deaf" and "dumb" near her ears more than anything else...

Right then, the door opened from the inside. A young girl holding a resu walked out with the look of one about to cry, her mouth covered as she ran away without looking at anyone.

The few onlookers were stunned, followed by a surge of nervousness that swept over them.

Lau Nana snorted. A bunch of losers; how could they compete with her?
