If Kang Cheng is kidnapping her because of Qin Du, then the opponent must be trying to threaten Qin Du. But what is he planning to do with her now?

Yun Ya felt like she was neglecting sothing. Her bag was missing, her phone couldn’t make any calls, and she was praying for Brother Yan to find her quickly. She miscalculated, thinking she would just et Li Yuan and return, but Mingyue happened to be handling other matters, and unexpectedly, this happened.

"Awake?" A faint voice suddenly sounded. Yun Ya paused, the voice inexplicably familiar, as though she had heard it sowhere before.

She decided not to pretend anymore, sat up straight, feeling sore and weak, leaned against the chair back, and watched the head protruding from the driver’s seat, "Who are you, and where are you taking ?"

She’s certain, this person isn’t one of Kang Cheng’s.

"Two questions, which should I answer first?" The voice was magnetically deep, a voice that could make soone pregnant upon hearing it. Oddly, it was quite familiar, but Yun Ya couldn’t recall where she had heard it.

"It’s simple, just answer in order." Yun Ya glanced out the window. The car was driving on the highway, surrounded by the alternating heights and layers of overpasses.

Her gaze fell on the road sign passing by in the blink of an eye, heading north; she had already passed the Third Ring Road, and going north was the road to the airport.

Yun Ya glanced at the rearview mirror, where the narrow lens only showed the man’s slightly pursed lips, faint and cool, pale and thin, reminiscent of the perennial ice and snow on the mountain peak.

Sothing flashed through her mind, so fast that Yun Ya couldn’t grasp it. She shook her head, fingers tightly gripping the seat cushion under her.

"I thought you rembered ." The man slightly opened his thin lips, and Yun Ya heard a hint of self-mockery in that tone.

Yun Ya hated this uncontrollable feeling, and sneered, "Should I rember you?"

The man was silent for a mont and then said, "There is a bag on the floor with bread, milk, and cookies inside. If you’re hungry, you can eat a bit to fill your stomach."

Yun Ya saw a food bag wedged between the seats, containing so convenient food, "I’m not hungry."

Yun Ya simply remained silent, wanting to see what kind of tricks this man had up his sleeve.

The car drove for a long ti, reaching a fork in the road, one leading to the airport and the other to Cang Mountain. The vehicle turned onto the road to Cang Mountain.

Yun Ya suddenly straightened up, not heading to the airport?

After driving for quite a while, the surroundings beca increasingly desolate. Without the car’s headlights, it would be pitch black. Besides the sound from the car, everything else was eerily quiet, leaving a sense of unease in the heart.

The man’s wireless earphones flashed a red light, and then the man lowly uttered an "Mm," pulling Yun Ya’s wandering thoughts back instantly.

Then the man didn’t speak anymore, the vehicle escalated onto Panshan Road, where the terrain was steep and very dangerous. Yet the man drove easily, as if cruising on flat ground, heading upward.

On one side of the road was a sheer drop, and if the car fell, it would an destruction of both vehicle and life.

At the mountain top, Yun Ya saw a wooden cabin quietly settled there, with a light glowing inside, emitting a faint brightness in the dark, like a beacon guiding lonely souls ho across the sea.

The man opened the car door, stepped out, opened the rear door, and bent down to look in.

He was very tall, standing there with wide shoulders seemingly capable of blocking out the sun and sky. He possessed a detached and noble temperant, like a Prince captivating hearts, yet his face was extrely ordinary.

His eyes appeared enveloped in mist, indifferent and tranquil.

Yun Ya paused; she confird she’d never t this person before, yet strangely, he gave her an inexplicably familiar feeling.

The man bent down to hold her, and Yun Ya subconsciously shrank back, sensing this man ant no harm, but she rejected any physical contact except from Brother Yan.

"Do you plan to sit in the car all night?" The man lightly countered, Yun Ya was montarily stunned, then the man lifted her up with both hands. Yun Ya struggled, realizing the man’s fingers tightened around her arm, making her feel a bit of pain. Soon after, his fingers gently loosened.

"Don’t move." The man glanced down at her, his long legs moving towards the cabin.

Yun Ya looked at the man’s jawline, the lines sowhat unnatural. Could he have disguised himself?

Yun Ya said while reaching out, but when she touched the jawline, the man glanced over, prompting her sheepishly to retract her hand. While under the eaves of another, submission was inevitable.

The man chuckled, eyes like a starry sea rippling, reflecting a pool of gentle moonlight.

There are certain individuals, even with the most ordinary appearance, their inherent charm is unmistakable.

The cabin comprised two rooms, inside was the bedroom, outside was the living room, beside it a small kitchen, outfitted with essential facilities, a rosewood sofa, LCD TV, a double-door fridge, and even underfloor heating... Upon entering, it was no longer cold.

Comfortable like a fairy tale world.

The man carried her into the bedroom, placing her on the large bed, covering her with a blanket, and softly said, "I’ll cook for you."

Yun Ya watched the man turn and walk out, furrowing her brows, the next mont she struggled to sit.

Her body still lacked strength, isolated in the mountains, even if escaping, she would freeze to death in such cold weather. However, this man was very strange, taking her here late at night, insisting on cooking for her, was this what a kidnapper should do?

Yun Ya glanced around the room; it was a sowhat delicate bedroom, evidently designed for females, by the window there was a dressing table with so high-end costics on it. Yun Ya struggled off the bed, walked over, and sat down. She saw her pale reflection in the mirror, appearing even more dazzling, clear and stunning.

Casually opening the drawer, she found a photograph inside. Picking it up, her eyes widened.

The girl in the photo... was her.

That was when she was thirteen and attended college, captured reading on the grass in the back hills of the University of Washington. The girl in the photo wore a gray long sweater, with long hair draped over her shoulders, leaning against a camphor tree and intently gazing at a professional book. The wind from afar stirred the girl’s bangs, creating an incredible mont of youthful beauty...

Yun Ya’s blood reversed current, fingers tightly clutching the photograph.

On the back of the photo was a stylish line of English writing.
