The man in black saw those icy cold eyes before him, as deep as a thousand-year-old frozen lake, and his heart sank to the bottom in an instant.

The man in black suddenly grasped the dagger, rcilessly stabbing it toward his own heart. Yet, in the blink of an eye, he sprung up like a leopard, lunging swiftly at Yun Ya. Yun Ya remained seated calmly, showing no signs of panic, appearing aloof and detached.
There was even a soft smile at the corner of his mouth, so gentle and pleasing.
Yan Song swiftly grabbed her hand, pulling her into his embrace, retreating quickly, while behind them, the situation was already resolved.
The dagger clattered onto the floor with a "pop", the entire man in black sprawled on the ground, his head pinned underfoot, unable to move.
His heart was filled with both fear and shock. Just where did this monster co from, moving with such extre speed, striking so ruthlessly? A re touch on his back rendered him immobile, as if under a spell.

Before long, Mingyue dragged out the barely breathing man in black, who was now just a limp heap on the ground, on the brink of death.
Mingyue reached out and pulled back the collar of the man in black, revealing the skin behind his ear, "Miss, please take a look."
Yun Ya focused and looked.
