Yan Xing hurried over and helped ng Shujing carry the unconscious Yan Jin away.

ng Shujing shouted to the child standing in a daze, and the child looked at Yun Ya, then suddenly ran with small steps to catch up with ng Shujing, tugging at her clothes and following along, looking adorable and endearing.

Almost all of the Yan family’s younger generation was gathered here, Yun Ya included, observing her surroundings quietly and saying nothing.
Yin Suhua took Zhuang Xiyue aside for so unknown discussion, leaving Yun Ya alone, suddenly feeling a warm breath by her ear. Yun Ya instinctively stepped back, leaning against a pillar, noticing a man in red with an alluring, coy smile, as srizing as a poppy.
"I happened to have sothing on your engagent day and couldn’t make it. I heard sothing big happened that day. It’s a pity I didn’t witness it myself."
Yun Ya narrowed her eyes, "Seventh Uncle, it’s a public place, please mind your status. Or are you implying the last beating wasn’t hard enough?"
Yan Nangui touched his face lightly and hissed, taking a few steps back.
"I heard that soone with the last na Pei acknowledged you as a sister? Ha ha... there’s no such thing as brothers and sisters of the opposite sex in this world. I think Ah Song’s vinegar pot might just tip over this ti." Yan Nangui gloated.
Yun Ya sneered, "Seventh Uncle, instead of concerning yourself with others, you’d better take care of yourself. Lest the geese start biting back."
Yan Nangui curled his lips, "Can I take that as you’re being concerned about ?"
Yun Ya’s eyes turned cold, cursing inwardly at his frivolity, thinking Brother Yan hadn’t taught him a thorough lesson last ti; this person seed to forget the pain after the wound healed.
Just as Yun Ya was about to get angry, Yan Nangui suddenly took a few steps back, putting so distance between them, just as Pei Qinghan opened the door and ca out, attracting everyone’s gaze.
Pei Qinghan said plainly, "Aunt... has passed away."
Yan Nanrong let out a loud cry and knelt to the ground with a thud.
Cries filled the courtyard instantly.
Yun Ya closed her eyes, thinking about karmic retribution and the cycle of nature.
As for what Pei Ying said to Pei Qinghan, nobody knew.
"Cousin, please accept my condolences." Pei Qinghan bent down to help Yan Nanrong, and as the saying goes, n don’t cry easily, not until they are truly heartbroken.
