"In front of the young lady, I am never the Family Head." Mingyue murmured to herself.
Uncle Lau hesitated for a mont and said, "The young lady’s Cultivation Energy has not fully recovered, and activating the Formation will consu most of it. A single misstep could lead to a backlash, which is extrely dangerous. Let handle it instead."
"No need." Mingyue replied coolly, "I will do it myself."
Uncle Lau sighed, "After waiting for so many years, there is finally news. But the Family Head... Miss, aren’t you going to tell her?"
"It’s not the ti yet." Mingyue glanced at Yun Ya, who had been quietly following behind, pursed her lips, and whispered, "The urgent task now is to find the master. The rest can wait."
In the center of the clearing lay a large circular symbol, intersected by long lines, with a sacrificial table at the intersection point. Upon the table were placed fruits, snacks, and an incense burner with three sticks of incense inserted.
With a magician’s flair, Uncle Lau produced a bundle and unfurled it. It was a Gold-Threaded Robe with a black base and red cloud patterns. Under the moonlight, the robe shimred with gold, casting an austere, mildly chilling reflection of a Four-Clawed Golden Python soaring high.
Putting on the robe, Mingyue turned around; the coldness in her eyes now carried an air of supre nobility. She was shrouded in a mysterious aura, with the full moon overhead, and holding a Magic Wand. Her gaze seed to pierce through the ancient years, flowing with an eternal river.
That noble presence made one instinctively want to bow at her feet.
Yun Ya watched from afar, a hint of astonishnt flickering in her eyes.
11:59 PM.
Mingyue suddenly raised the Magic Wand high, with the full moon above her head. At that mont, she appeared so solemn and holy.
She mumbled sothing indistinctly that Yun Ya couldn’t hear from the distance. However, her deanor was undeniably devout, as if worshipping ancestors. Suddenly, a strong wind arose from the ground, making her robe dance with the wind.
With a wave of her sleeve, the three sticks of incense lit up suddenly.
She began to dance. The dance was not graceful, yet it carried an ancient charm. Yun Ya had read about it in books; in ancient tis, people would perform the dance with a halberd at grand sacrificial ceremonies, such as those conducted by royalty or significant noble families.
As she danced, the night seed like a giant beast, opening its bloody maw behind her, as if ready to devour.

The full moon was suddenly obscured by clouds, plunging the world into darkness. In that fleeting mont, Mingyue suddenly looked up, her gaze intense enough to make Yun Ya’s heart skip a beat. In the next instant, Mingyue extended her hand towards her, and Yun Ya’s body, out of her control, flew in her direction.
"Blood." A deep, resonant voice drifted hauntingly across the sky and earth.
Yun Ya extended her arm, and without hesitation, used a small knife she had prepared to cut her wrist. Blood flowed freely.
The blood was drawn by an unseen force, rising into mid-air, transforming into a strange symbol, suspended there.
Yun Ya was abruptly pushed out of the circle by a force, causing her to stumble and sit heavily on the ground.
Yun Ya took out the prepared hemostatic dicine, applied it to the wound, and roughly bandaged it. She then saw Mingyue suddenly plant the Magic Wand at the center of the circle, shouting sharply: "Activate."
At that mont, the earth seed to tremble. The blood symbol split into four, darting to the four corners of the circle. They moved along the white lines at the sa speed, consuming them, finally converging, then began drawing towards the center in four lines.
When the four blood lines t, following Mingyue’s gesture, a burst of white light suddenly emanated from the circle. Fierce winds rose, Mingyue stood at the center of the white light, her robe fluttering and her hair in disarray, like a god descending.
The light was so dazzling that Yun Ya instinctively closed her eyes.
The world suddenly fell silent.
Yun Ya slowly opened her eyes and saw Mingyue standing in the center of the blood formation. Suddenly, she spat out a mouthful of blood, and it was only with the support of the Magic Wand that she did not collapse.
Yun Ya quickly ran towards her, "Are you hurt?"
Mingyue wiped her mouth and smiled, "I... I finally sensed his location."
Yun Ya, overwheld with emotion, asked, "Where is he?"
"He’s in..." Mingyue struggled to swallow, just as Uncle Lau ca over and popped a pill into her mouth, "You shouldn’t speak now, focus on regulating your energy."
Mingyue took a deep breath, sat cross-legged, and began to regulate her Cultivation Energy. Uncle Lau sat cross-legged behind her, placing his palms on her back, slowly transferring internal energy to her.
