A warmth spread through Yun Ya’s heart, akin to the sunlight outside.
Her eyes narrowed lightly with a smile, and she nodded, "Alright, Brother Yan, I’ll wait for you."
Yan Song was surprised that she agreed so easily; it caught him off guard. "Stay well-behaved in the hospital. My mom should be arriving soon. Listen to the doctor, and don’t run around." He rattled on with his instructions, his voice as cold as ever, but to Yun Ya, the sound of it made her lips involuntarily curve up.
"Okay."
There was a ss of noise on Yan Song’s end; it sounded like he was talking to soone. She intermittently heard the words, "My friend... scram...."
Yun Ya smiled with pursed lips. Brother Yan still had such a temper.
"Ji Yunya, rember what I just said. I’ll co to see you at noon, hanging up now."
The phone emitted the sound of a busy tone.
