Bai Xiangxiang took the USB drive, heard so noise outside, and asked, "What’s happening outside?"

Bai Xiangxiang pouted, cursed her luck under her breath, but then, thinking about her more pressing matters, she quickly returned to her room.
She watched the surveillance footage over and over again.
She focused on the part with Pei Qinghan, who had one very strange detail about him. Bai Xiangxiang specifically found that spot and followed the direction he was looking at that ti. Indeed, there was a figure in the distance, but it was too far away, and with it being night and the lights flickering, the face was not clear at all.
But just looking at the figure’s back, it felt strangely familiar.
Bai Xiangxiang suddenly slapped her forehead, "It’s Ji Yunya."
Thinking of Ji Yunya, her heart suddenly sank.
It also reminded her of what Bai Ran had ntioned but didn’t finish saying—the person she also knew. When Bai Ran married into the Yun Family, she would definitely want to win over her stepdaughter. And with Ji Yunya being around the sa age, who else could it be but her?
That’s right, it was Ji Yunya; the person that Pei Qinghan held dear was indeed Ji Yunya.

Bai Xiangxiang gave a timid smile, "It seems like he doesn’t like very much."
At least she was aware of that.
Thinking to himself, Ah Ling nonetheless said with a smile, "He’s like that with everyone, no ill intentions."
The two chatted as they walked into the villa.
Bai Xiangxiang waited in the living room for a while, until Yuesheng and Fu Bai both appeared, and after Pei Qinghan was inford by Ah Ling, she was allowed to go in.
It felt like eting a high-ranking official, which made Bai Xiangxiang quite uncomfortable.
However, when she saw Pei Qinghan, she didn’t show it.
"Qinghan, tomorrow is my friend’s birthday party; can you go with ?" Bai Xiangxiang asked tentatively.
Pei Qinghan agreed without hesitation, "Sure."
The quick agreent left Bai Xiangxiang stunned for a mont, then she said joyfully, "Really?"
It seed Pei Qinghan wasn’t as aloof as he appeared to be; there must still be a place for her in his heart.
Pei Qinghan looked up at her, his gaze cold and indifferent, void of any emotion, "What do you think?"
Bai Xiangxiang’s face stiffened for a mont, then she smiled and said, "You wouldn’t lie to , I trust you."
Pei Qinghan nodded coolly, "I have things to do. If there’s nothing else, you should leave."
So late, and he didn’t even offer for her to stay the night. Bai Xiangxiang cursed him for his insensitivity in her mind, but not daring to push too hard, she had to obediently leave, even if it hurt internally.
"Yuesheng, look at this perfect night for an adventure. We shouldn’t waste such a beautiful moonlit and quiet night. Let’s go drinking. Have Xiao Bei call a few girls over, and tonight will be lively," Fu Bai said, looping an arm around Yuesheng’s shoulder, only to be stopped by Yuesheng’s look.
