Yun Ya felt as if a century had passed; it was that long. His hand slid down her back, itching and tingling. Her spine turned soft, and suddenly she snapped awake, biting his lip.

A hint of amusent flashed in Yan Song’s eyes as he gazed straight into hers, ending that prolonged kiss.

Yun Ya was like a fish out of water, her hands propped against his chest, bending over and gasping for air. When she looked down, she saw sothing she shouldn’t, and with a scream, she quickly covered her eyes with her hands.

"You’re a hooligan," she said in a tone so soft and weak it carried no force.

Yan Song chuckled lightly and whispered in her ear, "I’m only a hooligan toward you. Besides, I’ve seen it all, and we’ve kissed. I might think you’re playing hard to get."

"What nonsense are you talking about? I’m not speaking to you anymore, you’ve gotten all my clothes wet," Yun Ya pouted, about to leave.

The water continued to pour down ceaselessly, drenching Yun Ya’s hair and clothes completely; her sheer, wet fabric clung tightly to her body, revealing her shapely figure, especially when she moved, the outlines of her chest flickered in and out of view...

With a tug from Yan Song, Yun Ya was pulled back into his arms, "You’re already wet, just shower with ."

Yun Ya shoved him, his chest as solid as iron, unmoving, "Who wants to shower with you? We’re not even married. I’ve already suffered enough losses, you can’t take advantage of anymore."

"It’s clear that you’ve been the one taking advantage, playing coy...," he peeled off the clothes from Yun Ya’s body with quick, skillful hands while talking.

Yun Ya let out a startled cry, instinctively covering her chest, "What are you doing?"

Yan Song embraced her, "We’re about to part ways, and just the thought of not seeing you for several days is unbearable. Can’t you comfort a bit, baby?"

This endearnt made Yun Ya shiver with distaste, yet a hint of sweetness stirred at the bottom of her heart.

Their two young bodies pressed tightly together, devoid of any lust, simply eting with open sincerity.

Yun Ya wrapped her arms around his neck, burying her head in his shoulder, leaning her entire weight on him, feeling the strong sense of security his youthful, robust body offered, along with the stirring sensations of tenderness that perated her heart.

The spray of the water showered down upon them, soaking them through, Yun Ya barely able to open her eyes as the droplets on her lashes threatened to fall.

"Brother Yan, I can’t bear to leave you, either, but this ti, I really can’t go with you," Yun Ya said.

"It’s alright, there will be more opportunities in the future. Next ti, I’ll take you to Capital City for fun," he replied.

Rembering sothing, Yan Song’s brow furrowed slightly, "I need to tell you sothing."

"Hmm?" Yun Ya stretched out her hand absently, watching as drops of water fell onto her palm, blooming like a flower, the corners of her mouth turning up slightly.

"My dad’s term is over. He’ll soon be transferred back to Capital City, and our whole family will move there," he said.

Yun Ya was taken aback, this wasn’t right—Uncle Yan hadn’t been reassigned so soon in her previous life...

Suddenly, Yun Ya rembered that in her previous life, it was the sudden ergence of Case 718 that had led to the mayor being held accountable, blocking Uncle Yan’s return to the capital. It had delayed his transfer by two years.

If the 718 disaster was prevented, Uncle Yan’s return to the capital was inevitable, but if the 718 disaster occurred, it would take Uncle Yan an additional two years to move back.

All of this would depend on her choices.

She didn’t want Brother Yan to leave. As long as his ho was here, even if Brother Yan went to military school, she’d feel supported deep down. But if his family moved back to Capital City, that bustling tropolis thronged with the powerful and wealthy, she couldn’t help feeling uneasy...

It was an uncontrollable fear of the unknown.

Feeling Yun Ya’s body stiffen abruptly, Yan Song held her tighter, "Don’t be afraid. Just wait for here for two years, and I’ll co back for you."

"Brother Yan, I’ll be eighteen in two years," Yun Ya said.

She closed her eyes, "Alright, no matter how long, I’ll wait for you."

Two years, huh? It didn’t seem like such a long ti, but those days without him would be incredibly long.

Yun Ya could hardly imagine it.

She clung to him tightly, sticking to him like an octopus, "Brother Yan, I really can’t bear to let you go."

Yan Song sighed, wrapped a bath towel around her, and carried her out of the bathroom.

Laying her on the bed, Yun Ya hooked her arms around his neck and pulled him down towards her.

Thinking of what Ji Die had said, that a girl should have self-respect, a trace of scorn crossed her eyes.

Why should she have self-respect in front of the one she loved? The attraction between n and won was normal, and after all, she and Brother Yan were aiming for a lifeti together, not just a fleeting joy of youth. She knew well what she was doing. Life is only worth living once, and being happy is what matters most.
