Gu Chunrong finally got her wish to see Bai Ran, after a photo of her kneeling had been posted online. Ning Qinglin had a bit of fa, so various unpleasant rumors spread throughout the school, and the school leaders even talked to him about being mindful of the impact. Bai Ran, seething with anger, stord over to the Bai Family.
"Kneeling on the ground begging, does that not disgust you? Next ti you want to start trouble, co at , don’t go harassing Qinglin, otherwise, I’ll make sure you can’t handle the consequences," Bai Ran fiercely warned.
This ti, the couple’s actions had completely turned her stomach.
"Ranran, I really had no other choice, don’t be mad at , I will never do this again," Gu Chunrong spoke more pleasantly than she ever had before, it was as if the sun was rising from the west.
Bai Ran scoffed, "Spill it, what are you really up to?"
Gu Chunrong hesitated a mont before revealing Bai Xiangxiang’s situation. At the end, she cried torrents of tears, saying, "I admit I was wrong in the past, and I apologize to you. But Xiangxiang, you’ve always cherished her since she was little. You can’t just watch her be wronged. You’re already the Ning Family’s daughter-in-law. As long as the Ning Family is willing to help, Xiangxiang will definitely be alright."
So sothing had happened to Bai Xiangxiang. Bai Ran was surprised for a mont, but after hearing Gu Chunrong’s words, her anger flared up. She sneered, "You speak so easily, not to ntion I haven’t even married into the Ning Family yet. Even if I had, what does that have to do with you? I’ve already cut ties with you all; what does Bai Xiangxiang have to do with ? Why should I save her?" With that, she picked up her bag and prepared to leave.
Suddenly, Gu Chunrong lunged forward and clung to her legs. "Ranran, you can’t be so heartless. Xiangxiang is your own niece. Can you bear to stand by and watch her die? Don’t bla my faults on Xiangxiang; she’s innocent."
Bai Ran’s eyes darkened, "Get off ."
Gu Chunrong clung on tightly. Bai Ran couldn’t bring herself to really kick her and coldly said, "Now you regret it? Back when you thought you had secured a powerful backer, I still rember how you gloated over our misfortune. Now that things have gone wrong, why don’t you cling to that powerful backer of yours? My legs are too slim; you won’t be able to hold on."
"Ranran, my sister-in-law really knows she was wrong. That Pei Qinghan, he’s nothing but an ungrateful wretch..."
"What favors does he owe you? What loyalty?" Bai Ran mocked.
Gu Chunrong was left speechless by that retort.
"Enough, I’ve got a wedding dress to try on. Don’t waste my ti. If I catch you bothering Qinglin again, don’t bla for being impolite." With her words, she left, clicking away in her high heels.
Bai Lun sighed, "Just leave it to fate."
Gu Chunrong bit her lip hard. "If you don’t leave a way to live, don’t expect to live either."
Bai Lun frowned, "What are you planning to do?"
Gu Chunrong laughed darkly. "I never thought my sister could be so heartless."
Since you’re being ruthless, don’t bla for being unjust. If I can’t save Xiangxiang, I’ll make sure your son pays with his life.

Leaving the Bai Family, Bai Ran drove towards ho.
She received a call from Ning Qinglin halfway there and briefly explained the situation.
"Qinglin, the grievances of adults should not involve children. Xiangxiang... she is, after all, my niece..." No matter how harsh her words, she couldn’t harden her heart; she just didn’t want to be coerced into submitting.
"I understand, I’ll go find Zihuan right away."
"Qinglin, thank you."
"Your matters are my matters, do we still need to be so formal with each other?"
After hanging up, Bai Ran was on her way to try on her wedding dress when she suddenly rembered sothing very important.
She was supposed to visit Yun Ya and see her. Things had been so busy that she had completely forgotten.
She bought so gifts at the mall; the siblings didn’t lack anything, but knowing Yun Miao loved puzzles, she bought a high-end puzzle set and so premium supplents for Yun Ya. That done, she drove to the Ji Family Manor.
Truth be told, if it wasn’t for Yun Ya, she would never want to set foot in that place again.
The Ji Family Manor, where she had buried more than a decade of her youth, was nothing more than a gilded cage to her.
She had seen the scandalous love triangle involving the siblings that had been sensationalized recently; at the ti, she couldn’t help but secretly applaud, both sisters getting their just desserts and Yun Shen becoming notoriously infamous was a satisfying revenge.
Yun Ya, that child, was both smart and formidable. She had been biding her ti, and when she struck, it was always deadly.
She found Yun Ya to be a very contradictory person; her thods in dealing with Kang Jinxian and her sister were enough to make one’s scalp tingle. Only those in the know were aware of just how fearso she could be. Yet, this sa girl, who could sche against her own father and ruthlessly deal with enemies, would risk her life to save a stranger.
To label her as bad, yet she showed kindness.
To label her as kind, yet her actions were nothing but cruel.
Truly, a girl as puzzling as a riddle.
Bai Ran thought she understood Yun Ya, but she had never truly seen through her.
