Passing by the ancient tree at the entrance to the village, a little boy suddenly dashed out, blocking the car.
The driver slamd on the brakes and stuck his head out the window to curse loudly.
Yun Ya’s eyes narrowed slightly at the sight of the little boy. He patted Yun Miao’s hand, pushed open the car door, and stepped out.

Watching Yun Ya turn and leave, Ning Zihuan’s lips moved, but ultimately, he bowed his head in silence.

The doorbell rang, "Ding Dong."
"Who is it?" Bai Ran was flipping through a magazine when she heard the ring and called out in response.
"Miss Bai, there’s a delivery for you. Please sign for it," a man’s deep voice ca from outside the door.
Bai Ran furrowed her brows. She hadn’t bought anything online; could it be sothing sent by her brother? She put on her slippers and walked to the door, peering through the peephole to see a man in a delivery uniform holding a delivery box waiting at the door.
Bai Ran opened the door with suspicion.
"Miss Bai Ran? Here’s your delivery. Please sign for it," the man said, handing over the delivery box along with a pen.
Bai Ran glanced at the sender: blank, recipient...
But it was too late by the ti she realized sothing was wrong. Suddenly feeling dizzy, she swayed while holding onto the door fra, shook her head, and saw the man’s sneering face before her eyes.
She desperately tried to keep her eyes open but couldn’t resist the overwhelming drowsiness caused by the drug.
In her last mont of consciousness, she thought bitterly that Bai Ran, too, had her day of capsizing in the gutter.

Just then, a tall figure slowly walked in from outside the living room. Upon seeing Ning Qinghua, he clearly froze for a mont.
"Big brother," His voice was pleasant to hear, as clear as a stream flowing through one’s heart.
Ning Qinghua snorted from his nostrils, "You still know to co back. Why didn’t you die out there?"
The man silently lowered his head.

Yun Ya curled her lips slightly. Zihuan’s knife skills were still excellent.
Just then, a noise suddenly ca from downstairs. She listened intently, a gleam of interest flickering in her eyes.
In the living room, Yun Shu eyed the uninvited woman who had arrived full of arrogance, narrowing her eyes slightly.
The shock in Kang Jinse’s eyes was fleeting, and then she lowered her head, suppressing the resentnt in her eyes.
Kang Jinxian observed with detachnt, trying to make his presence as small as possible.
"Lady Yun, I’m here to say, ten days from now is an auspicious day. I’d like to get married to President Yun on that day," Bai Ran said in a water-blue bodycon dress, her figure seductive and her deanor elegant but seductive like a sirene.
