"He’s here," Qin Du said in a low voice.
Yun Ya rested her chin on her crossed hands, and upon hearing this, she did not turn around, but the smile at the corner of her mouth deepened.
"Brother Ah Du, take ho, please."
Surprise flickered in Qin Du’s eyes, having been directly rejected by her when he offered a ride before. Now, she was asking...
He smiled, understandingly, and replied good-naturedly, "All right."
He stood up, and Yun Ya, too, prepared to leave with her backpack on her shoulder.
As she turned around, a tall wall of flesh blocked her path.
Yun Ya didn’t look up, but as she observed the dust covering his black boots, she noted that a man ticulous about cleanliness hadn’t minded the dirt covering him, which ant he must have hurried back, covered in road dust.

The rough, burning palm forcefully grabbed her arm, causing Yun Ya to frown from the pain. Holding back tears, she suddenly pushed him: "What are you doing?"
"Let go of Yaya. Can’t you see you’re hurting her?" Qin Du walked over and accused him coldly.
Yan Song gave him a scornful glance: "What business is it of yours? She’s my girlfriend."
Ignoring Yun Ya’s struggle, he forcefully dragged her out of the restaurant.
"What are you doing? Let go of ." His grip was so strong, like a vice, and Yun Ya could not break free.
Luckily, there weren’t many people around at that mont, and with Yan Song’s quick pace, their exit from the restaurant did not attract much attention.
He dragged her to the car and stuffed her into it.
With a "bang," the car door closed and the taxi sped away.
Qin Du chased after them, only to end up with a mouthful of dust.
His brows furrowed tightly, noticing that Yan Song looked off, worried sick that Yaya might get hurt. He dashed to the roadside and commandeered a taxi that a young lady had just hailed. Ignoring the young lady’s furiously stomping feet, he pointed to the departing car and pulled out a wad of cash: "Follow that car closely."
Money talks. The driver’s eyes lit up, "Got it."
The car shot forward.
"Let go, you bastard." Yun Ya bit down on his arm, clearly with much force. Yan Song hissed in pain but did not pull away, allowing her to almost bite through his skin.
The driver, seeing the commotion, thought, Geez, this guy is definitely trouble; he’s blatantly abducting a decent young woman. His sense of justice swelled, "Miss, don’t worry. There’s a police station nearby. I’ll drive there now so we can have this bad guy dealt with by the law."
That IQ is why he’s just a taxi driver.
Yan Song shot him a cold glance, and the driver saw a bloodthirsty look in the boy’s eyes through the rear-view mirror, causing his heart to skip a beat. Emma, that’s terrifying...
Yun Ya suddenly stopped biting.
A scorching sensation fell on his arm, burning his skin.
Yan Song wrapped his arm around her waist, pulling her entire body into his embrace, hugging her tightly as if he wanted to ld her into his bones, deeply inhaling her scent. In that mont, his heart finally settled.
"Stop it. I hardly ever co back, and it’s not to fight with you," he said, his hoarse voice tenderly coiling around her ear, the warmth of his breath teasing Yun Ya’s ear again and again. Unable to help herself, her body softened, and she hung limply on him, pounding his chest furiously.
"Who’s making a scene with you? Who’s arguing with you? You’re not a man of your word. I don’t want you anymore," she said.
The strength of her hits felt more like tickling, and her tone was both querulous and coquettish, extrely petulant.
Yan Song hugged her tighter, "I didn’t keep my word—I apologize, okay? You can punish in any way you want, but please don’t say things like that again."
Yan Song realized that he had changed a lot; if this were before, he probably would have let jealousy cloud his judgnt. But now, he was coaxing her in a sweet and gentle tone. Love indeed had the power to transform him beyond recognition.
Yun Ya started to cry out of indignation, "You said a week, yet you were gone for a month. No phone calls, no replies on WeChat. Do you even rember you have a girlfriend?"
Yan Song kept apologizing profusely, his attitude sincerely contrite, appearing ready to be scolded or beaten. Gradually, Yun Ya’s anger dissipated, but she continued to sob quietly.
Deeply pained, Yan Song hated the thought of their imminent separation with no set date for a reunion, and his vision darkened as he held her even tighter.
The driver finally caught on to what was happening: the couple was fighting. Heh... honestly, the drama of today’s young lovers. He had been worrying over nothing.
