Pan Yu was rendered speechless.
In her heart, she cursed Ji Yunya for ddling, yet every word she spoke hit the mark, too sharp for her to withstand, and people’s gazes at her had changed.
By now, even a fool would understand what’s going on.
This stepmother is truly vicious. Think about it, Miss Lin is really pitiful to have such a stepmother and sister.
"No, it’s not like that." Pan Yu tried to defend herself, but no one listened anymore.
Just then, the ambulance arrived. The diagnosis was a stroke, and the patient needed imdiate hospital treatnt, but with so many guests at ho, leaving like this was inappropriate. Pan Yu volunteered to follow the ambulance, glaring fiercely at Lin Qianqian before leaving. She was already hopeless about this daughter, who was useless and dood to never beat Lin Sili in her life.
Since she had suffered a crushing defeat, she must now hold onto Lin Peng tightly; otherwise, if sothing happened to him, her situation at ho would beco more difficult.
The party had reached this point, and continuing would be aningless. The guests prepared to depart.
Ji Yunya walked beside Lin Sili, and Lin Sili quietly said to her, "Thank you for just now."
Yun Ya smiled and said, "Leave no blade grass behind, the spring breeze will bring it to life again."
Lin Sili’s heart skipped a beat, and she slightly lifted her eyes to et a pair of deep black eyes, seeming to smile yet enigmatic.
She understood this principle, but she could never be as ruthless and cold as Ji Yunya; her heart still softened.
"I understand."
Yun Ya curved her lips and said sothing ambiguous, "I hope you really understand."
The guests were now gathered in the hall, ready to leave one by one. Yun Ya felt soone tug at her dress and looked down to see a charming little girl about seven or eight, dressed in a pink princess dress, blinking her pretty big eyes up at Yun Ya.
"Pretty sister, soone asked to give this to you."
The little girl said as she stuffed a redwood box into Yun Ya’s hands. Yun Ya was montarily stunned as the little girl weaved through the crowd and disappeared in the blink of an eye.
She frowned, staring at the box in her hand, and was about to open it when a hand stopped her.
Yun Ya lifted her eyes to see Ning Zihuan’s handso face filled with coldness: "Don’t move, I’ll handle it."
"It’s too late."
Yun Ya said calmly, her fingers quickly prying open the box lid.
The box contained a tid bomb, with a conduit on top, inside which flowed a green liquid.
If Yun Ya moved, the liquid would flow in a direction, slowly corroding the obstacles in the current. Once the circuit connected, it would detonate the bomb.
Yun Ya’s expression didn’t change, instead, she wore a faint smile: "A tid bomb, really seeing highly."
Soone seeing the bomb in Yun Ya’s hand suddenly scread, "There’s a bomb!"
One shout raised a thousand waves, instantly everyone turned to look at Yun Ya, unsurprisingly seeing the tid bomb in her hand, scrambling to flee.
Yun Ya stood in the hall, the lights suddenly glaring, surrounded by the noisy fleeing crowd. She stood tall, beautiful, calm, as if unaware of the dangerous object she held.
"How can this be?" Lin Sili covered her mouth, incredulous.
"Quickly take your daughter and leave here." Yun Ya shouted sternly.
"But you..." Yun Ya said blandly, "I’m fine, leave quickly, evacuate everyone here swiftly, hurry."
Lin Sili gave her one last look and hurried to organize people to leave.
Yun Ya lifted her eyes to look at the young man in front of her: "Why are you dazed here? Hurry up and go."
"This is a chemical-tid bomb. As the chemical reagent in the conduit slowly corrodes the obstacles in the current, once the circuit connects, it will detonate the bomb. But this one has been modified. As long as there’s no external force, the chemical reagent will slow down the corrosion rate, so as long as one remains still, a bit of ti can be gained," Ning Zihuan said calmly and quickly.
Yun Ya smiled, "I know."
Ning Zihuan gritted his teeth, "You can still smile?"
Yun Ya stood straight, showing no panic, "Hurry up and leave, don’t sacrifice your life for , it’s not worth it."
"Whether it’s worth it isn’t up to you." Ning Zihuan reached out towards her, intending to take the box, his actions careful.
Yun Ya’s face suddenly turned cold, "Ning Zihuan, stop."
Ning Zihuan looked deeply at her, "I won’t let you die."
"Ning Zihuan, do you know what you’re doing?" Yun Ya’s voice was icy cold.
