Everyone stared at David Willard’s hands wondering what was in the black envelope. Was it finally a word from the kidnappers.
We’re they finally demanding ransoms because they were each ready to all pay any amount just so their children are fine.
"What is that?" Prince Raphael asked staring at the letter. He hoped it was a clue or sothing. He was desperate, he has never been more desperate in his life before.
The thugs that held his child were really stupid, Raphael almost laughed. Using old outdated thod to kidnap people was just stupid. They could easily track them with modern devices .
David without responding yet, opened the sealed envelope and brought out a black letter. Everyone wondered what was written in the letter.
David stared at the letter which read, Adkins and frowned. Why was the Adkins sending him a letter?
He had rembered seeing this letter being given to his father while he was alive and David knew black letters from the Adkins family wasn’t a good thing. Did they still give this out.
"It’s from the Adkins family." He said.
"The Adkins? What do they want?" Abby asked wondering what the Adkins lawyers were up to this ti. Why would they send a letter to David Willard?
Did they know Ariana’s whereabouts?
"We’re you a forr Adkins yourself Abby, how do you not know about the letters?" A woman amongst them asked.
"We’ve never given this out before." She stated.
"That’s because you’re not a true Adkins. The Adkins family always gave out three envelopes. The white, the red and the black." The woman continued. Only the knew generation aren’t aware of the Adkins power.
They were talking about the most powerful family in the globe.
The white letter was always of good relationships and peace. The black was subtle warnings and the red, is the most dangerous of all.
Never get the red card, else, you’re done for good.
"But why would they give you a black letter?" Raphael asked. He’s been doing the most talking since he arrived.
"I have no idea." David Willard responded.
"I don’t an to invade, but can you at least read it out loud. It might be related to our children." David nodded. Raphael was right, but why would the Adkins family send black letter for his daughter.
Had Ariana done sothing bad again? Did she hurt Penny?
David opened the letter and began reading.
"Greetings. I know by now you are all wondering where your children are for the past few days.
Our master has asked us to inform you that they are serving punishnt for hurting his wife." Everyone looked between themselves.
"What?"
"What did you say?"
"The Adkins will not release the people that have hurt our master’s penguin until a special price a paid."
"Penguin?"
"Since when do they have penguin?"
The families must provide gifts and good offering for our master’s precious Penguin, she must be treated as royalty and only when the master sees his penguin is pleased will he let them go." David Willard read.
"What can we possibly get a penguin that would make it happy?" Raphael asked.
"Don’t even think of getting Mrs Adkins involved in this ss, else, you will never see your children again." David Willard read.
"If you think this is so joke, check the photos in the envelope." David quickly brought out the multiple pictures in the envelope. He could see five girls surrounding in the dessert running away from a cow.
Maybelline snatched a photo from him and there she saw her Ariana. Her baby looked hurtz running away from a cow for her dear life.
"How can soone be this inhumane and try to harm our children over a penguin?"
Abby and her family had no idea why the Adkins lawyers would punish people for hurting a penguin. Since when did the madman have a Penguin?
Was this so sick ga orchestrated from the stupid Penny? Was that why she threw them out of the mansion?
They should have known this was her ga plan all along. She had finally achieved what she wanted.
Abby swore she would get that bitch.
The photos were passed around and everyone’s eyes went wide. It was true, they had their children. But why?
Why would anyone hurt a human because of an animal?
"We should get the police involved." A woman said.
"You know no one gets involved with the Adkins family. You’ll only end up causing much problem for yourself.
"Why would they even hurt a penguin if it belongs to the master of the house?" Another person asked.
"I have asked my daughter to stay away from that Ariana girl, but she has refused to listen. All Ariana Willard has ever caused for our family is trouble."
"You’re right. Mrs Willard, you have done a terrible job raising that girl." Another person said.
"I would appreciate it if you all don’t co for my child. Your children are not saints either. They have also caused problems for my Ariana." Maybelline said.
"This is not a ti to argue. We should be thinking of gifts to get this Penguin. Maybe a golden fish or sothing." Raphael said and the others were silent.
He was right. "And when I finally get my child, she will never be close to the Willard’s anymore." The woman stated.
"Let us go sweetheart. You have heard from the Adkins themselves. Let us prepare special gift for his Penguin and apologize to our daughter." He said. "Our daughter will never be associated with the Willard’s." He added.
The other families all left one after another. Leaving Maybelline and David alone to themselves.
"What can we give to get Ariana back David." Gregory asked. He was worried about his daughter in law. No matter what, Ariana is like a daughter to him. He has grown to love her.
"You’re speaking like you can afford any of the gifts. Just stop talking let and my husband handle this." Maybelline spat.
