Once it was evening, the Willard’s arrived at the Adkins estate again for dinner. According to the Adkins lawyers, Penny had invited them for dinner wanting to apologize for everything that happened before.
Like her new lapdog, Abby followed closely behind Maybelline. Anything to step her foot in the Adkins estate again. She had less than two weeks to kill the madman, it was either that or she paid back the 5 billion given to her.
Where the hell was she supposed to get such amounts from, that is why she has chosen the next best option. Which is kill the madman. It doesn’t matter if Penny gets blad for it or a maid, she would do the clean job and move on.
Maybelline raised her shoulder proudly as she stepped in. Penny had promised the madman will be well behaved tonight and will not do anything stupid, so she was happy to help.
Penny was really stupid. She should have known, after everything she did to the girl, she still wants to forgive her. She had even offered Penny fake gifts out of all the real gifts there and only hers was accepted.
How stupid! Maybelline smiled at her thoughts.
Well, what can she expect from Xavier Bloodsworth daughter. Her father had been so stupid to believe her lies back then without further investigating and finding out she wasn’t a victim of the situation at all.
In fact, he was the victim. The only reason she won was because she was a minor back then and it was easier to bla him. Her hate for Penny had been forced and practiced.
She didn’t hate her child because of a man’s mistake. She hated the girl because of her mistake.
"Welco miss Willard." Barnaby bowed slightly to the woman as she walked in. They all had no idea what their master was planning and while he would accept her gifts even thought he knew so well they were a fake.
Why did he spare the Willard’s and not punish them as much as the other families?
"Whatever, where’s that daughter of mine?" Maybelline threw her purse at Barnaby. Penny was her child and if she’s willing to accept her back and apologize for the humiliated of today, then everything belonging to the Adkins family was finally hers.
Both Maybelline and Abby were in awe at how beautiful the penthouse was. They had both bowed never to step their feet in here after their past experiences, but they place looked different.
It looked living... More grand then a royal palace. For a mont, Maybelline couldn’t believe this was the sa house they had stepped in to mock Penny.
Abby frowned slightly. She couldn’t believe it had been her idea to find a wife for the madman. Soone they could all ss with and force to sign everything he owns to them. But in the end, they were the ones kicked out of the family for good.
She had no business being friendly with Penny, but if Maybelline’s words about her being a fool are true, then she would deal with her so badly that Penny will never see it coming.
"Mrs Adkins will be right with you. Please co with ." Barnaby said calmly leading them over to the dinning room.
In her bedroom, Penelope had just finished wearing her dress for dinner with Osvaldo fixing the buttons on the dress when a knock sounded by the door.
"That should be them." He murmured gently.
"The guests?" Penny asked to see him nod. She wondered who they were and why Osvaldo had asked her to dress up to see them.
"You look stunning." Osvaldo said as he buttoned the last button.
"You too." Penny complented. She was used to his complent by now, he always complented her while she was fat, and now she was slender looking.
Penny wouldn’t say she wasn’t a little nervous by who the guest were.
"Don’t forget Penguin, I am nothing but a madman." Penny nodded at his words. Osvaldo was nothing but a madman for tonight. This ant she would be doing all of the talkings.
When they arrived in the lounge, Penelope wasn’t at all pleased by the presence she saw in the penthouse. Are these the guest Osvaldo was talking about?
He had made her dress up looking beautiful for her mother and Abby Peterson?
"Penny." May called with excitent.
"Thank you for having in your ho Penny. I’m glad you finally listened to my pleas." May said with a stiffened smile, though she didn’t dare go close to Penny, not when the madman was directly behind them.
If the Adkins lawyers hadn’t begged, she would never have agreed to co.
Imdiately, Xavier Bloodsworth stepped into the lounge and frowned again. Maybelline was the last person he had expected to see tonight.
"You’re still here?" May said but Xavier ignored her completely.
"Please, let’s have dinner together." Penny said awkwardly and they all moved into the dining room.
