After finishing the conversation with Chu Hai, Bai Ruozhu left the Cining Palace, pondering how to help Chu Hai.
On a normal day, she would tell Achun and have Achun convince the Emperor to help, and it might be resolved. But aren’t the two of them in a cold war now? Should she swallow her pride and beg him?
Thinking of this, Bai Ruozhu pursed her lips. She would rather et the Emperor herself.
When she reached the Imperial Study Room and asked, she found that the Emperor was indeed working in the Imperial Study Room. After speaking with the eunuch, she was soon ushered in.
However, upon entering, she found it was not just Tang Yin in the study room; a dark-faced Jiang Yichun was also there.
Bai Ruozhu, still upset, deliberately ignored Jiang Yichun, not looking at him, and rely perford the official ceremony to Tang Yin.
"This minister pays respect to the Emperor."
Tang Yin was observant and quickly noticed the discordant atmosphere between them, feeling sowhat pleased.
This couple usually seems overly affectionate, always showing off in front of him, resulting in his envy and desire to find Favorites Concubine for comfort. But he refrains due to the dangers in the harem, visiting only on the pretext of seeing the Empress Dowager or the young prince.

Only by finding this Seven-color Ganoderma can Chu Hai be completely healed." Bai Ruozhu explained.
Her statent was well thought out. On one hand, Chu Hai’s health genuinely suffered due to past poisoning. If the Emperor is skeptical, a comprehensive examination by the Imperial Physician will prove it. On the other hand, the Seven-color Ganoderma is so rare that even experienced Imperial Physicians might never have seen it, making it difficult for others to dispute her claim.
Of course, the Seven-color Ganoderma is related to Tu Ying. If the Emperor sends people to find it, they might also find Tu Ying.
"Oh? How co Chu Hai never ntioned this before? He seems quite robust." Tang Yin doubted Bai Ruozhu’s explanation.

Tang Yin furrowed his brows, "Will it cause major issues? Affect his lifespan? Or sothing else?"
Bai Ruozhu serious and with diverted gaze said, "Difficulty in bearing children."
Tang Yin was taken aback, unsure if Bai Ruozhu ant impotence or inability to impregnate, but he felt it inappropriate to ask, especially to a female doctor who was his close minister’s wife.
"I will arrange for people to search for it. Is there anything else needed?" The Emperor said.
"The Emperor is wise. That’s all, thank you." Bai Ruozhu responded, performing a bow.
Tang Yin glanced at Jiang Yichun’s dark face and cheerfully remarked, "You may leave now. I still have matters to discuss with Jiang Aiqing."
"As you wish, this minister takes leave." Bai Ruozhu perford a bow and left, not sparing Jiang Yichun a glance.
Jiang Yichun’s face darkened even further, his teeth gritting audibly. Yet with the Emperor present, he could not retaliate, thus he swallowed his anger.
After leaving the Imperial Study Room, Bai Ruozhu sought out Chu Hai and relayed her conversation with the Emperor. Chu Hai’s face turned green; being a man and being labeled as having "difficulty in bearing children" was not a dignity enhancer!
"Well? Is your pride or your beloved’s safety more important? If you’re unwilling to make this slight sacrifice, then you might as well not ask for my help." Bai Ruozhu rolled her eyes at him.
Chu Hai forced a smile, "No, pride is worthless."
Bai Ruozhu burst into laughter, "Didn’t realize that falling in love changes a person, even makes one’s words lack decorum."
Chu Hai blushed, "Do you think this will work?"
"When the Emperor sends soone to check your pulse, cooperate and end on a somber note. Then in a couple of days, bring it up with the Emperor, don’t forget to ntion you plan to return early to prepare Xiaoyao’s marriage. This should resolve the issue." Bai Ruozhu suggested cheerfully.
Chu Hai smiled back, "Alright, thank you."
At this mont, footsteps approached from behind them, and as Bai Ruozhu turned her head, she saw Jiang Yichun, who had caught up with a dark face.
"You two seem to be in high spirits, chatting so joyfully from afar. What are you discussing?" Jiang Yichun forced a smile, but his tone was sowhat sarcastic.
Chu Hai had dealt with Jiang Yichun before, knowing him to be a jealous type, he was about to explain when Bai Ruozhu cut him off.
"Nothing much, I doubt the busy officer Jiang would be interested." Bai Ruozhu replied coldly.
"Who says I’m not interested? Or does the lady have matters she’s unwilling to share with her husband?" Jiang Yichun said through clenched teeth.
Chu Hai’s mouth twitched. These two were definitely arguing; he felt unlucky to have walked into their line of fire.
"Such words, suggesting I have clandestine matters hidden from you. Is this how officer Jiang views his own wife?" Bai Ruozhu snorted coldly, lowering the surrounding temperature.
"Why can’t I inquire about my wife’s matters?" Jiang Yichun narrowed his eyes, apparently ready to explode.
Chu Hai took a deep breath, placing a hand on both of their shoulders, saying, "Please, you two, let’s talk reasonably."
Jiang Yichun caught sight of Chu Hai’s other hand resting on Bai Ruozhu’s shoulder, and a flash of killing intent appeared in his eyes. The next second, Chu Hai was thrown over his shoulder onto the ground.
The guards nearby noticed the commotion but upon seeing Jiang Yichun, they retreated, intending to observe the situation first.
Chu Hai gritted his teeth and got up, annoyed at his delayed response.
"Brother Jiang wishes to spar with ? But today, I promised Xiaoyao to accompany her, I’ll take leave for now." Chu Hai said and dashed off, not even bothering to dust off his clothes.
Bai Ruozhu glared at Jiang Yichun, "How unreasonable!"
With that, she too turned and left, not in the sa direction as Chu Hai.
But Jiang Yichun grabbed her arm, coldly demanding, "Where are you going?"
Bai Ruozhu turned her gaze to his hand, "What, want my arm dislocated again?"
