After saying this, she pulled Dengdeng up. "I’m going to find my teacher. If you want to stay, stay. If not, keep hiding."

Jiao Ling nodded, then leaned over to Bai Ruozhu and quietly said, "Your son is incredible. He’s much more talented in chanical Techniques than you."
Bai Ruozhu’s mouth twitched. Can’t they stop comparing her? She never wanted to learn, to begin with, and now she’s even more disheartened.
"He learned chanical Techniques with my senior brother for a few days but, because he’s young, hasn’t started with the basics. He’s just given so chanical toys and likes to take them apart and rearrange them," Bai Ruozhu explained.

"Then let him co over to learn so basics with in his spare ti, and we’ll perform the apprenticeship ceremony when he’s three," Jiao Ling looked eager, as if she wanted to start teaching now.
"Uh, that sounds good too." That way, her Dengdeng wouldn’t cry because he couldn’t play with the chanical Fish.
Jiao Ling said as she took out a wooden box, walked over to Dengdeng, and handed it to him. "Good disciple, this is your master’s gift for your first eting. Once you can fully open it, I’ll teach you chanical Techniques."
Little Dengdeng took the wooden box, looking at it inside and out, his bright eyes filled with fascination. It seed he didn’t hear the term "master."
Seeing Dengdeng received the gift, Bai Ruozhu quickly told him, "Then why don’t you return the chanicalchanism Cat to grandma? You shouldn’t be greedy, okay?"
Little Dengdeng hesitated for a mont, but he still nodded and handed the chanicalchanism Cat back.
Jiao Ling smiled and said, "This was originally ant to be given to him for play, so now that I’ve beco his master, I’ve given him a gift for our eting as well. If you don’t let him play, I would lose face."

Little Dengdeng was excitedly showing everyone his chanicalchanism Cat and the wooden box. Amazingly, he managed to open the chanical Box after not fiddling with it for long, but Jiao Ling said he had only opened a small part of it, urging him to continue exploring it.
The whole family marveled, and Little Dengdeng proudly said, "When I learn it well, I’ll make one for everyone! Even for Chenxi!"
The family was delighted, and Wan Caiyue, who was holding Chenxi, was especially pleased. With such an outstanding brother looking after her, she felt much more at ease about Chenxi’s future.
