Chapter 1894: Chapter 1884: It Really Ca True

Jiang Zhihe hurriedly went to support her and almost got pulled down, “Big Sister, wake up, are you okay?”

The maids rushed to help, flustering around, and moved Jiang Zhiyi to the Imperial Concubine couch. Jiang Chenshi’s eyes were red with worry.

“Ruozhu, is Zhiyi alright?”

Bai Ruozhu checked Jiang Zhiyi’s pulse and pressed her chest a few tis before saying, “She’s fine, just overwheld with anger. She’s worked hard to let go of that marriage, but Kong Xunwu showed up again, making her uneasy.”

Jiang Chenshi’s anger flared as she yelled at the servant, “What do you an coming back? Who does he think he is? Do we have to greet him just because he shows up? Tell the residence not to let him in!”

After saying it, Jiang Chenshi regretted it, rembering these were not her servants, she got muddled by anger, and her face flushed after realizing it.

Jiang Zhihe handed a pouch to the servant as a reward, “Please convey my mother’s words to our family’s servants, I appreciate your hard work.”

This eased Jiang Chenshi’s embarrassnt a bit, and she gratefully glanced at her second daughter, knowing her own temper was a bit impatient, but fortunately, both her daughters were good.

It’s just…

The eldest daughter’s fate was a bit bitter.

After the servant left, Jiang Chenshi awkwardly smiled at Bai Ruozhu, “Ruozhu, I’m sorry to let you see a joke.”

“What are family mbers saying these for? Aunt, don’t worry too much, Kong Xunwu can’t stir up any trouble.” Bai Ruozhu smiled at Jiang Chenshi, which reassured her a lot.

After a while, Jiang Zhiyi finally woke up slowly, looked around, and sighed deeply.

“I still haven’t gotten over it, made mother worry.” Jiang Zhiyi said with so guilt.

Min Xiang helped Jiang Zhiyi up, and Bai Ruozhu took her hand and said, “Don’t get too excited, it’s not worth affecting your health, stay for dinner later, and let’s have a good chat.”

Jiang Zhiyi nodded, “Mm, I won’t see him, and I won’t be angry anymore, that person has nothing to do with now.”

Bai Ruozhu gave her a thumbs up, “Being able to pick up and let go, that’s the true role model for us won.”

Jiang Zhiyi was amused by her words, Jiang Chenshi and Jiang Zhihe couldn’t help but laugh, and the atmosphere in the room lightened considerably.

They chatted for a while more, then Jiang Chenshi said she wanted to visit Lin Pinger in the Bai family’s main house, so Bai Ruozhu took them there, conveniently having lunch together.

There were no male guests at noon; Bai Yihong had gone to the fields outside the city to check on things, and just the won gathered around a table, having a lively al.

Unfortunately, the good atmosphere didn’t last long; a servant ca reporting that Kong Xunwu was at the Bai family’s main gate, saying he wanted to see his wife.

“Who’s on duty at the gate today, how could they lack such discretion? Such a person should be turned away.” Bai Ruozhu said displeased.

Lin Pinger signaled her with her eyes, fearing that handling it so freely would make Jiang Zhiyi unhappy.

“That’s right, I don’t want to see him, turn him away.” Jiang Zhiyi supported at the right mont.

Lin Pinger sighed in relief and told the servant, “Go and send him away.”

The servant looked troubled, “He has been turned away before, but he is kneeling at the gate crying miserably, saying he ca to ask for forgiveness from his wife, seeking her pardon. There are many onlookers outside, and it’s not good to move him now.”

“This Kong Xunwu is really not a good person!” Bai Ruozhu couldn’t help but curse, “Since the divorce, he rants publicly, talking about his wife, asking forgiveness, wanting everyone to know, making it inconvenient for Zhiyi to remarry, and to make her return to him?”

“Such a person is selfish, initially refused to follow us for a concubine, now why bother coming? Did he bring the concubine’s child with him?” Jiang Zhihe was also furious.

Jiang Zhiyi took a deep breath and said, “Don’t let such people anger everyone, it’s not worth it. Let him in, I’ll make it clear to him, to avoid him causing gossip.”

“Zhiyi, don’t worry about people gossiping about our family, all year round whose doorstep hasn’t had trouble like this?” Bai Ruozhu patted Jiang Zhiyi’s arm to comfort her.

Jiang Zhiyi, however, showed a determined look, “I better speak to him face-to-face, I don’t want to hide behind anymore.”

Bai Ruozhu nodded silently; when Jiang Zhiyi decisively divorced, it showed she was not a timid woman.

The servant received the order and soon led Kong Xunwu in. As soon as Kong Xunwu entered, he excitedly rushed towards Jiang Zhiyi, seemingly eager to embrace her tightly.

Min Ju’s face darkened, secretly stuck out her foot, making Kong Xunwu cry out, falling flat on his face.

The won in the room almost burst out laughing, and Kong Xunwu cried out in pain, looking even more pitiable.

He lay on the ground, crying miserably, saying, “Zhiyi, I know I was wrong. I shouldn’t have been soft-hearted to take care of that lowly maid. I thought I was fulfilling a father’s responsibility, but I unexpectedly discovered she was having an affair with her cousin, and that child wasn’t mine at all!”

Bai Ruozhu laughed out loud; she had previously told Jiang Zhiyi that she had no physical problems and would not be infertile. Her aunt said maybe the fault lay with Kong Xunwu, that the concubine might not even carry his child.

Ha, it turned out to be true!

Jiang Chenshi and Jiang Zhihe couldn’t help but laugh; this was truly delightful!

Kong Xunwu, still imrsed in his own sorrow, didn’t notice the others’ gloating expressions and continued crying, “I really regret it. I was reluctant to divorce you and took the risk to find you, just to ask for your forgiveness. Can we live a good life together again?”

Jiang Zhiyi sneered, “We are already divorced. You being cuckolded by your concubine is your own problem, I don’t want to know, nor am I interested. Please leave.”

Kong Xunwu stared at Jiang Zhiyi in a daze, then desperately crawled towards her, but was stopped by Min Ju, “Young Master Kong, n and won should keep a distance, please stand back.”

“Zhiyi, I know you’re still angry with . Whatever you want, I allow, beat to relieve your anger, okay?” Kong Xunwu looked pitifully at Jiang Zhiyi, “I was foolish, I deserve a beating!”

He said this as he slapped himself on both cheeks.

“Enough!” Jiang Zhiyi shouted angrily, “Get out! I’ve divorced you and will never go back. If I remarry, it will definitely not be with you. Don’t dream about it, I don’t want to see your disgusting face again!”

Jiang Zhiyi was so angry her lips trembled. This was the man she was married to for three years, once deeply in love, allowing the concubine to secretly get pregnant, and now this repulsive behavior, made her feel ashad she loved such a man for three years. Previously she couldn’t see clearly, missed him day and night, it’s simply ridiculous!
