Bai Ruozhu also said, “Also, Mother needs to accompany your father for his treatnt, and your grandparents are old and need company. Since we can’t be with them, we can only rely on you, Dengdeng.”
“That’s right, you are our firstborn son. The family’s future burdens will fall on your shoulders,” Jiang Yichun added in agreent.
The couple spoke one after the other, and Little Dengdeng nodded steadily, his small head bobbing like a pounding garlic clove.
