The voice of Fen Jizhi was filled with urgency and worry.

Jiang Yichun, listening from outside, overheard everything and quickly pulled his son aside to whisper, "Son, it’s up to you to save your mom today. Go and keep your granny occupied, ask her to bathe you and stay with you tonight."

Jianqi, Yizi, Gao Zhou, and the others felt much relieved when they saw her co out.
Lanlan and Chenfeng also ca to see her. Bai Ruozhu took a good look at them; Lanlan’s complexion had improved a lot these days, with a healthier glow. Chenfeng’s mood seed good too, the two of them appeared to be getting along quite well.
"Madam, are Jing Lei and Muyu coming back?" Chenfeng asked. He had already learned from Jianqi that Bai Ruozhu had sent Jing Lei and Muyu back, one to see his wife, the other to get married.
Bai Ruozhu nodded and said, "Your master entrusted you to , so you’ll be staying by my side eventually."
At this mont, Bai Ruozhu noticed that Jiao Ling hasn’t appeared, so she quickly asked, "Why haven’t I seen aunt?"
Lanlan’s eyes dimd, and she said with so worry, "My mother fell ill a few days ago, and Uncle Fen has been taking care of her."

"Why didn’t you tell sooner? I would have gone to see her!" Bai Ruozhu complained.
"My mother’s illness stems from her heart; knowing you and Bi Tao are safe has already improved her condition significantly. You were so exhausted yesterday, we didn’t want to burden you with more worries. Let take you to see her now," Lanlan suggested.
With that, Bai Ruozhu went with Lanlan to see Jiao Ling and found Fen Jiu by her side as well. After paying her respects to both, she ticulously checked Jiao Ling’s pulse and health. Bai Ruozhu prescribed so dicine for Jiao Ling, and then went back to rest; her own injuries also required recovery. Once she recovered a bit, she needed to concoct an antidote to dissolve the fire mines, so the clan could remove the threat outside as soon as possible.
In a blink of an eye, three days had passed since she returned to the Jiuli Clan, but in those three days, she hadn’t seen Fen Cheng.
