Wa Wei skillfully climbed down along the rope at the side of the boat, facing the young man in the sea.
She couldn’t help but her eyes reddened, tears falling down. However, the young man smiled, "Why are you crying again?"
"It’s all your fault!" Wa Wei said in a huff, "Do you know how worried I am about you?"
The young man chuckled twice, "I’m the one who worries about you!"
"Do all rfolk only live for thirty years?" Wa Wei asked directly.
The young man showed a surprised expression, "Who told you about this? Soone on the boat?"
"I know everything. Master Jiang on the boat is also a rfolk. Sister Ruozhu said he only has three years left, so they want to find the rfolk’s island to see if there’s a way to break the vein curse. What she said, is it true?" Wa Wei kept staring into the young man’s eyes, hoping to hear a denial, but his evasive gaze made her understand it was all true.

The young man pulled her into his arms, "You’re a silly girl, that’s why you don’t care, but others won’t be like you."

"How am I silly?" She looked down and muttered.
The young man laughed, but felt sowhat sad inside. They banished him because they feared him, but he didn’t want to tell Wa Wei about this.
"Is everything still alright with them? No one’s bullying you, right?" The young man tightened his arms around her, not allowing her to break free.
"Pretty good, everyone is nice to . Sister Ruozhu is my teacher, she’s especially nice and knows a lot about dical skills. Wa Wei was pale with fright; she didn’t know martial arts and had never faced such an intense scene.
Qiu Zhi kept throwing talismans and drew his peach wood sword to stab at the young man.
"Courting death!" The young man finally got angry, dodged the attack, and whipped Qiu Zhi into the sea with his tail.
"Ah..." Qiu Zhi shouted, making all the talisman papers on him soaked and useless.
Bai Ruozhu heard the commotion, called Jiang Yichun out, and saw the scene.
She looked at the young man holding Wa Wei in surprise. He looked like the legendary rmaid, human with a fish tail, extrely beautiful. But at this mont, he was furious, whipping huge waves at Qiu Zhi with his tail.
"Duannian, don’t hurt him!" Wa Wei shouted anxiously.
The young man flicked his tail, and the waves hit to the side, though not hurting Qiu Zhi, he still got drenched.

Finished speaking, he plunged into the sea, Wa Wei wanted to call him but was too late. When he erged from the sea, he was already dozens of ters away, an astonishing speed.
His figure swam into the distance, and the song of the rfolk bidding farewell sounded, like heavenly music.
Wa Wei’s tears flowed, watching the distant scene with reluctance.
