Speaking of Duannian, Bai Ruozhu rembered that young man, wondering how his leg training was going. When the boat was robbed at the pier, he didn’t appear, likely not nearby.

Jiang Yichun didn’t speak for a while again, Bai Ruozhu went to retrieve his clothes, quickly glanced at him, noting he was still lost in thought, seeming internally conflicted.
Her heart clenched again, was he contemplating good deeds?
But she wouldn’t choose that path; she couldn’t gamble, not everyone has the chance to live again, if it fails, she’d lose him forever.
Jiang Yichun hadn’t noticed Bai Ruozhu was crying; he was slightly worried, thinking if he were reborn like Master Pudeng as a re child, how could he be with his woman, she would probably scorn him for being younger, just a baby.
