When they returned to the posthouse, Fo Lanying was excitedly recounting the day’s events. A few of the young ladies listening were blushing, while Yuan Licheng was wide-eyed, though Fo Lanying didn’t notice at all. She was so thrilled as she spoke.
"You wouldn’t believe it, but that Kui Shou looks quite dignified. In reality, he’s just a scumbag. His physique isn’t nice either; so young and already has a belly. He looks so sleazy!"
Yuan Licheng finally couldn’t hold back, grabbing her by the collar, "Fo Lanying, let’s have a proper talk."
"What are you doing? Let go!" Fo Lanying struggled while casting a pleading look at Bai Ruozhu for help. Unfortunately, Bai Ruozhu just smiled back with a helpless expression.
Well, she was telling her story so enthusiastically, completely ignoring Yuan Licheng’s feelings at the mont.
Yuan Licheng dragged her into the room, then closed the door with a bang.
"What do you an by a good figure? Should I show you?" Yuan Licheng exclaid, eyes wide.
Fo Lanying chuckled awkwardly, "No need, no need, you definitely have the best figure. In my eyes, you’re the best."
Yuan Licheng enjoyed hearing that, and his anger subsided a bit.
"Then why do you look at others? Do you find them attractive?" Yuan Licheng asked again.
"Not attractive, not at all. I’m going to get a sty from looking." Fo Lanying quickly said.
Yuan Licheng suddenly felt he had no way to deal with her and suddenly pulled her into his arms. "How could a young lady like you look at such things? Don’t you know it makes angry?"
Fo Lanying’s heart was pounding. She did look, but observing and experiencing it herself were two different things. She was so nervous her heart felt like it was going to jump out, and her voice beca much smaller.
"I won’t look at them anymore, okay?"
Yuan Licheng softened his heart too, holding her tighter. "What should I do with you? When will you finally agree to marry ?"
Fo Lanying initially told Yuan Licheng it was impossible for them, but gradually her attitude changed. Even if she didn’t say she liked him, he could already feel her true feelings.
"Uh, after returning to Zhongyuan then." Fo Lanying said softly.
Yuan Licheng was overjoyed and quickly let her go, looking into her eyes, "Really? You agree to marry ?"
"Shouldn’t I at least et my mom first?" Fo Lanying’s face turned red, her voice barely a whisper.
"Okay, I’ll listen to the wife!" Yuan Licheng laughed, picked her up, and spun her around, making Fo Lanying scream in fright, then she punched him twice, "I haven’t married you yet, stop calling that!"
"Okay, okay, I’ll listen to the wife; I won’t call you that in public."
"Not even in private."
"But if no one hears it, what’s wrong with occasionally calling you that?"
"I said no ans no. You just said you’d listen to ."
"Alright, alright, you’ve admitted you’re my wife, so I’ll listen to you."
"You..."
Fo Lanying stomped her foot in anger, her face flushed as she ran out of the room.
Yuan Licheng was so excited, shouting "wife" so many tis; who wouldn’t hear him yelling it several tis?
Even Jianqi, who rarely smiled, had a faint smile on his face, saying, "Xiaoyuan finally has his mont."
For so reason, Qiu Zhi felt a touch of bitterness in his heart. He turned his head to glance at another room; Shanhu was staying inside. However, since arriving at the posthouse, she had been recovering and didn’t co out much.
Perhaps she wasn’t familiar with everyone, and coming out might be awkward. Besides, when a girl encounters such things, there will always be shadows, afraid of eting those who know about it.
He glanced at everyone, then turned and went to the kitchen, poured so tea, and brought it to Shanhu’s room.

Shanhu also showed a look of envy, "No wonder he’s so happy, congratulations to them."
"Yes." Qiu Zhi didn’t quite know how to respond and just said a few words about how the two were initially adversaries but later ca together.
Shanhu listened intently, her beautiful eyes occasionally showing envy. She envied a carefree woman like Fo Lanying and admired a determined and steadfast man like Yuan Licheng.
When he finished speaking, Qiu Zhi found himself at a loss for words again, so he said, "Well, have a good rest; I’ll get back to work."
"Hmm." Shanhu nodded.
When Qiu Zhi ca out of Shanhu’s room, he saw Bai Ruozhu standing at another door, watching him with a mischievous smile.
His face turned red up to his neck in an instant, and he awkwardly shuffled over.
"Master, do you need sothing?" Qiu Zhi asked, steeling himself.
"Nothing, just watching the excitent," Bai Ruozhu’s smile deepened, "So people like soone yet refuse to admit it; it doesn’t seem very manly."
"I..." Qiu Zhi was at a loss for words.
Bai Ruozhu crossed her arms and quirked her lips, "Isn’t it just sothing about your sect not allowing marriages? They didn’t say you can’t be together, did they? You two already slept together, so what is there to be embarrassed about?"
Of course, she said the last part in a lowered voice. She was used to teasing Qiu Zhi, but now she had to consider Shanhu’s reputation.
"This, this is considered betraying the sect." Qiu Zhi stamred.
"That’s because you all don’t know how to be flexible. It’s not like you’ll always stay in the sect and never go out again. As long as both like each other, find an opportunity to et frequently." Bai Ruozhu offered advice.
"Isn’t that the sa as..." Cheating? But he couldn’t bring himself to say it out loud.
Bai Ruozhu couldn’t help but roll her eyes at him, "It’s called dating. How is it as bad as you make it sound? Anyway, think about it yourself. Shanhu might leave soday, and if you move too slowly, you might not see her again in your life, and even if you want to find her, you might not be able to."
Qiu Zhi’s heart tightened. If he couldn’t ever see that woman again, what would he do?
He hadn’t thought about it before. He just felt they both had responsibilities and couldn’t reckless like Xiaoyuan and Lan Ying. Even if he wanted to see her more often, he didn’t dare to think about the future.
What if he never sees her again in the future?
He didn’t know, and he lost all his energy. He couldn’t even hear what Bai Ruozhu said afterward and stumbled back to his room.
When Bai Ruozhu returned to her room, Jiang Yichun couldn’t help but laugh, "You just can’t give up your matchmaking hobby, always giving people strange advice."
Bai Ruozhu glared at him, "Am I wrong? If you were Qiu Zhi, and I was Shanhu, what would you do?"
Jiang Yichun pulled her into a hug, "I wouldn’t care about anything else, even if it ans betraying the sect, I would never let you go!"
Bai Ruozhu blushed, "Then go educate Qiu Zhi. His head is as stubborn as wood. It’s a pity to waste such a good relationship."
