"Do you think she can be trusted?" Tang Feng’s face wore a sarcastic smile. "She’s just a recently acquainted daughter of Fusang, you’re too trusting of people."
After saying this, he strode away, leaving Bai Ruozhu standing there, her face full of guilt.
Back then, it was she who persuaded Tang Feng to let go of grudges from past lives and accept Princess Fu’an. Otherwise, even if Tang Feng liked Princess Fu’an, he wouldn’t be able to accept soone who looked identical to his forr lover who betrayed him. What she didn’t expect was that Princess Fu’an ultimately betrayed Tang Feng, bringing him the greatest humiliation of his life.

Bai Ruozhu’s nose tingled, "It’s not that, I was thinking about how I advised Tang Feng to accept Princess Fu’an before, and ended up harming him."

Tang Feng stood stunned at the doorway, only then rembering last night’s words. He had been sowhat angry, or perhaps he was avoiding confronting his own feelings.
Ever since the incident with Princess Fu’an, he decided he didn’t want any more won in this lifeti, as it constantly reminded him of the betrayal in his past life and the humiliation he suffered in this one, like an unshakeable gloom.
But he couldn’t help paying so attention to Yaxi, and once he noticed it, he got angry at himself, feeling he wasn’t firm enough. Did he want to be deceived by a woman again?
So when Bai Ruozhu ntioned it last night, he reacted like a hedgehog, hurriedly showing his spikes, overreacting.
He smiled bitterly, he’d have a good talk with Ruozhu later. She had helped him many tis, even saving him from Hell, how could he bla her?
Besides, he had no reason to bla her, it was he who liked Princess Fu’an, and it was he who spent every day and night with Fu’an without recognizing her true nature.
Bai Ruozhu was unaware of this little episode. She was broad-minded and had forgotten about it after a night’s sleep. Moreover, on reflection, she understood Tang Feng was just emotionally agitated, not blaming her.
She and Jiang Yichun had a simple breakfast, and while Jiang Yichun went out with Mo Beishan to arrange the sea voyage, she made a trip to Zhaoti Temple.
She was leaving for several months and had to leave enough dicine for Master Puru.
"Ruozhu, thank you," Master Puru said.
Having grown familiar, Master Puru directly called her by na, treating her like a younger acquaintance.
"No need for thanks, Master Pudeng of Xinchan Temple has shown kindness to ; helping you also fulfills my wish to repay that kindness," Bai Ruozhu smiled.
Master Puru also smiled, "I’ve never even t that senior brother of mine, and yet I can benefit from his goodwill, truly I’ve gained much from him."
Bai Ruozhu chuckled secretly, thinking, how could you not have t him, you’re supposed to take him as a disciple.
"By the way, we’re setting sail this ti, and I want to bring Luan Xin along. It’s just that it might be hard to persuade his father, so I fear I’ll have to trouble you, Master, to help with that," Bai Ruozhu ntioned.
Master Puru was a bit surprised, "Why take Luan Xin? He’s still young, isn’t it inconvenient for him to go out to sea?"
"The last ti I went to see Luan Xin, his father wouldn’t let see him. Later, when I secretly went to their backyard, I witnessed Luan Xin’s father secretly adding at to his food to force him to break his vow of abstinence. Fortunately, Luan Xin remained steadfast and undisturbed, otherwise it would have been too pitiful."
Bai Ruozhu continued, "To force him, his father wouldn’t allow anyone to deliver als, or it was all at and fish, often leaving Luan Xin starving. I would secretly bring him food every few days, but with us setting sail soon, I just can’t set my mind at ease."
Master Puru sighed heavily, "His father is so persistent, he may not agree to let you take Luan Xin away."
"They say reading ten thousand books isn’t as good as traveling ten thousand miles. Following us out to sea would broaden Luan Xin’s horizons, better than being confined in the Canghe family’s backyard, right?" Bai Ruozhu said.
If worse cos to worst, she’ll just secretly take Luan Xin, provided Luan Xin himself agrees, of course.
"I’ll try my best to persuade Lord Canghe," Master Puru said, "And thank you for this sea voyage, the gratitude of Zhaoti Temple will never be forgotten."
The Emperor had originally planned to enter the monastery at Zhaoti Temple after abdicating, making him a part of Zhaoti Temple, hence Master Puru’s words of gratitude.
"You’re too kind, Master. We see it as a journey. Besides, I’ve never seen Dragon-seeking Grass, and I’m eager to broaden my knowledge," Bai Ruozhu replied with a smile.
"Good, good."
After chatting with Master Puru for a while longer, Bai Ruozhu bade farewell and headed to Luan Xin’s ho.
Once again, she entered by climbing over the wall; Luan Xin was long used to it by now.
She described the events happening at the Palace to Luan Xin, and even the well-versed Master Pudeng was shocked to hear of a man bearing a child.
"So this voyage is primarily to search for Dragon-seeking Grass, but I have a hunch there will be so discoveries. Have you made up your mind?" Bai Ruozhu asked.
Luan Xin remained silent for a mont, "Yes, I’ll join you on the voyage."
Bai Ruozhu smiled, she knew he would agree. Even a person with no desires or concerns would be curious about his origins, right? Moreover, he was different from ordinary people in his past life, he didn’t even know what he truly was, even fearing others would discover his golden body and wings upon reaching Nirvana.
