As soon as Bai Ruozhu ca out of the Devil Vine, she tossed him a pill and said disdainfully, "I actually thought you were tough. I figured you could at least last a count of ten. Didn’t expect you to be scared to death at eight."
Alin was a bit anxious and muttered, "We’re letting him off this easy?"
Bai Ruozhu only smiled without answering. Of course she wasn’t going to let him off that easy; she just didn’t want them to die too quickly, that was all.

Fo Lanying snorted disdainfully and commanded the chanical Puppet to jab his neck, but that jab wasn’t ant to take his life.
The Chi Clan leader had only just saved his own skin and his body hadn’t yet hardened again. Being stabbed like that, he let out a miserable scream on the spot.
"Hahahaha, you were acting all arrogant and imposing just now, but in the end you’re just a coward. You even dared to sche against ." Fo Lanying laughed loudly.
Yuan Licheng went over unhappily and kicked him in the chest. "If you dare have any more ideas about my woman, I’ll castrate you on the spot!"
"I already let you go. Now you’re going back on your word!" the Chi Clan leader shouted. Alin helped translate.
Bai Ruozhu couldn’t help laughing. "Who was it that went back on his word first, huh? You’ve got so nerve bringing that up with us."
The Chi tribesn looked at their dead companions, hatred flashing in their eyes, but they didn’t dare stare at Bai Ruozhu’s group as arrogantly as before. Bai Ruozhu’s display had terrified them—she’d practically not even touched them, yet could still take their lives.
Suddenly, the ground underfoot trembled, and a rumbling sound ca from the distance. Tang Feng turned his head to look into the distance. "What’s going on? An earthquake?"
The Fusang region had lots of crustal plate movent and frequent quakes, and this Guozu Island was also in the Fusang area.
But right after that, thick smoke billowed up from a distant mountain peak. Bai Ruozhu’s expression changed as well. "Not just that. Looks like a volcano..."
At that mont, the Chi tribesn all turned pale and started shouting sothing. Alin’s face also went white as she said, "The gods are angry and are going to send down Heavenly Fire. We need to find a place to hide."
Once she finished speaking, she ran back into the cave to help her father. She was much stronger than an ordinary person and easily hoisted her father onto her back.
If the volcano erupted, scalding lava might flow out, and the volcanic ash alone would cause enormous trouble. Bai Ruozhu’s group didn’t dare delay. They directly abandoned the Chi tribesn and quickly ran in the direction away from the eruption.

Alin, a bit Nervous, hid behind her father’s back. The unfamiliar environnt made her sowhat afraid.
Before Duhe could explain, Bai Ruozhu spoke up. "Back then, he ca to the Island with his daughter. He just didn’t want to attract attention, so he kept the child hidden in his backpack. He insisted on going over there despite the warnings because he wanted to look for Herbal dicine to cure his daughter’s illness."
