1010: Chapter 105: Blue Eyes…

Green Pupil Crystal Dragon!

(1/2) 1010: Chapter 105: Blue Eyes…

Green Pupil Crystal Dragon!

(1/2) The ti Ian’s consciousness attached to the Crystal Dragon Incarnation was not long.

In the eyes of the crowd, Ian simply placed his hand on the Dragon Egg and remained silent for about half an hour.

The originally silent Dragon Egg then began to tremble.

Afterward, the Dragon Egg shattered, and the young Crystal Dragon clumsily crawled out of the eggshell.

“Huh?”

It moved its limbs, swung its tail, and surveyed its surroundings while letting out soft cries.

This scene drew gasps of surprise from the crowd on the other side, and Shasha’s curious “Oh?” joined in.

Of course, no one questioned Ian about how he managed to hatch the Dragon Egg—everyone present trusted him implicitly.

“How is it?”

Ian bent down to communicate with the young dragon, while the little dragon affectionately raised its head and nuzzled the boy’s cheek.

[So refreshing]

Its thoughts nearly exclaid in joy: [So comfortable]

Even though this combined Dragon Soul, ford by rging three Dragon Eggs, was essentially a more potent young Dragon Soul, it only carried the inherited mories of the Aether Crystal Dragon.

These mories were entirely different from the sensations of perceiving the ‘real world’ firsthand.

The young dragon’s three pairs of blue-green eyes gazed at the White Folk youth before it.

From the boy’s arm, it sensed a feeling of closeness—this was the scent of a mother.

It then turned its head to look at the others gathered around the Crystal Lake.

Big Shark, its caretaker, chosen to help control one of its other bodies.

Elan, who carried a similar aura to Ian and was thus also a chosen individual.

Elder Pude, an unfamiliar old man of significant seniority.

Green Tide, a powerful swordsman.

The intellect of the young Crystal Dragon was remarkably high.

As a hybrid born from the fusion of Worm Nest and Aether Crystal Dragon powers, it had silently observed its surroundings even before its birth, already learning and understanding a wealth of knowledge and information.

It naturally knew the importance of ‘human relationships.’

Not to ntion that these people might all serve as its future feeders, and so it made sure to rember them well.

After observing the people, it turned to examine its birthplace.

The ancient Crystal Lake cave was a spherical structure ford by Origin Quality distorting the natural environnt.

In the past, it might have been part of the Furnace Core structure within the Redwood Base, but it had now been entirely corrupted and turned into part of the Labyrinth.

The cavern ceiling was densely packed with stalactites, which occasionally dripped icy water, while ripples ford on the calm lake surface as Shasha swam through, disturbing its tranquility.

Beneath the lake, translucent crystal layers glimred faintly with visible, flowing light patterns—these made up a natural inscription structure and were the materialized carrier of the Natural Spiritual Energy Field.

This was its ho, the origin of its bloodline.

Everything was clear.

“Aoo~” The young Crystal Dragon let out a low Dragon’s Chant.

For so reason, despite only seeing these things—ordinary to others—it felt an urge to cry out in excitent.

This was the joy of life.

It was celebrating the happiness of its birth.

“Hmm…

what a well-behaved child.”

Ian reached out and gently stroked the young Crystal Dragon’s head.

Its scales, which should have been as sharp as blades, retracted instinctively, allowing him to touch it safely.

Of course, given Ian’s physical resilience, even if the young dragon resisted, it couldn’t injure him.

“Whoa whoa!

(It’s hatched!)”

Seeing the young Crystal Dragon erge, Shasha was the most excited.

It leapt up and hovered over the Crystal Island, closely inspecting the hatchling.

After all, over the past year, Shasha had been the one taking care of the Dragon Egg.

In addition to sitting on it directly to hatch it, Shasha also did everything else that could be done—occasionally rinsing the egg with water from the Crystal Lake to keep it from drying out and becoming uncomfortable.

Thus, the young Crystal Dragon cheered in return and affectionately nuzzled Shasha.

Shasha even let the young dragon sit on its head as it floated around the Crystal Island.

The sight radiated pure joy—both seed delighted as the hatchling let out happy cries.

The two appeared as inseparable partners…

Ian shook his head slightly, “Shasha, the dragon hasn’t eaten yet—let it finish its eggshell first before continuing.”

The gestation process of the Crystal Dragon was a supernatural and abnormal procedure.

Adult Crystal Dragons lacked human-defined genders; instead, they embodied a micro-ecological system akin to a colossal ‘ecological machine.’ The process of nurturing a Crystal Dragon within this system was essentially ‘constructing a growing miniature machine,’ one where diversity wasn’t a requirent—only perfect replication was needed.

Nonetheless, Crystal Dragons could reproduce sexually, primarily to exchange the ‘data’ accumulated during their lifetis.

This was, fundantally, a form of technological integration aid at producing optimized offspring.

As the young Crystal Dragon grew, however, it would naturally alter itself—becoming distinct from its ‘parents’ or the nurturing entity, undergoing another layer of optimization.

This was an incredibly advanced concept.

The eggshell of the Crystal Dragon, in essence, was a defense chanism.

The hatchling’s body developed almost completely within the mother’s womb, and the sole reason it remained enclosed in an eggshell was the need to wait for its ‘soul’ to form.

The mucus inside the eggshell was akin to a ‘Spirit Energy Nourishing Extract,’ a substance in which the hatchling continuously absorbed inherited mories from the mother.

Once its soul erged, it gained the ability to access the innate mories residing within its bloodline.

anwhile, the eggshell itself was essentially a solidified ‘Magic Potion.’ It contained everything the young Crystal Dragon needed to grow from its initial ‘below-standard Power Level’ state into its mature ‘normal First Energy Level’ form.

This included various rare trace elents, tallic calcium crystals, alchemical potion components, a precious tal necessary for dragon nerve developnt, and the Origin Quality physical component that Crystal Dragons relied on most—the ‘attribute Source Quality Crystal.’

Although these materials were incredibly durable, they couldn’t be stored directly in the hatchling’s body.

Only soul-bearing beings could utilize these substances imbued with various natural Origin Quality Spiritual Energy materials, which is why they were shaped into an eggshell for the hatchling to consu after hatching.

Though Shasha didn’t understand the critical role of the Dragon Egg for the hatchling, it knew Ian never made wrong decisions.

So, it imdiately landed and placed the young dragon down.

The young Crystal Dragon, while still enthralled by the sensation of ‘flying,’ couldn’t ignore its hunger.

Seeing Ian gesturing, it obediently climbed down from Shasha’s head and made its way to its eggshell, where it began to chew and swallow mouthfuls.

The Dragon Egg was incredibly tough—so much so that even Sublimators would struggle to break it without special weapons.

Yet, in the hatchling’s mouth, it crumbled as if it were brittle wafers.

From the hatchling’s eating movents, Ian could even spot his own mannerisms—it had clearly imitated the way he consud food when attached to the Crystal Dragon Incarnation, capturing the essence of his actions.

Reflecting upon this, a thought related to the Hierarchical Sequence popped into Ian’s mind: theoretically, the Crystal Dragon Incarnation he controlled was the first to hatch among the three eggs.

In that case, wasn’t he technically the hatchling’s older brother?

Simultaneously, he was also its adoptive father and guardian…

“So many roles to play here on Terra,” Ian mused wistfully.

As the hatchling crunchily devoured its eggshell, which was highly nourishing and delicious to it, its outer scales transford from transparent white to glowing white, eventually becoming an almost crystalline silver-white.

Once Ian confird the hatchling’s health was excellent, he pondered aloud, “We shouldn’t keep calling it ‘the young dragon’—it’s ti to give it a na.

What should we call it?”

The young Crystal Dragon’s future held myriad possibilities—whether it fused all three bodies into one Aether Ultimate Dragon or operated with multiple auxiliary dragons in a coordinated setup, both modes were intriguing.

If one were to na it based on these traits, there would be plenty of interesting options to consider.

Under such circumstances, it might be better to keep things simple.

“Let’s call you Green Pupil.”

Ian patted the young Crystal Dragon’s head, prompting the hatchling to lift its gaze in confusion.

Six gemstone-like eyes stared at the boy, making him laugh.

No matter its eventual form, its eyes would undoubtedly remain green.

The birth of Green Pupil brought joy to everyone present.

“Yay!

(Hooray!)”

Shasha, naturally, was the happiest.

Being a sociable creature, it had eagerly accepted Hiliard’s training before later seeking out Ian on its own.

Its boss moving to other places to establish nests was understandable, but having no companions to roam the seas with was rather dull… And as Shasha grew smarter, it beca increasingly unable to communicate effectively with its weaker, less intelligent kin, who focused only on eating and crashing into underwater ore deposits, utterly lacking a spirit of exploration and adventure.

There wasn’t much to talk about.

But now!

With the young Crystal Dragon, it had a new sidekick to accompany it in exploring wherever it pleased!

“Hooray!”

Elan’s thoughts were far simpler—his big brother now had a dragon?

Embrace Light above, that was ridiculously cool.

Ian truly deserved admiration!

Although he couldn’t share this amazing news with his friends, Elan secretly hoped he’d get more chances to interact with the dragon in the future.

——Could I ride the dragon soday?

Elan eagerly asked Ian, who responded, “Of course.

You can even try for yourself.”

“Our territory has quite a few dragons!”

As for Green Tide, he was equally delighted: “His Highness Sio counts as one, and little Green Pupil counts as another—looks like our territory will have at least two dragons in the future.

Our leader truly is the Dragon God’s Emissary!”

Although Green Tide’s thinking was straightforward, it did spark a thought in Ian.

Although Green Pupil wasn’t a True Dragon—and the original prototype Aether Titan Dragon of the Aether Crystal Dragon wasn’t a True Dragon either—on Terra, they were recognized as ‘real dragons’…

Hence, for future propaganda efforts involving the Supre Spirit Sect or the Dragon God’s Emissary, this narrative could surely be leveraged.

“Not bad!”

Ian rarely praised Green Tide, making the swordsman feel honored: “Next ti you have ideas to share, speak up directly!”

Nearly everyone expressed happiness and congratulations for Green Pupil’s birth, except Elder Pude, who couldn’t help but focus on a more pragmatic concern amidst the celebrations.

“What does it eat?”
