107: Chapter 100 Flowing Ti and Faith_3 107: Chapter 100 Flowing Ti and Faith_3 The abundant fish harvest ca just as the Western Fortress District was in desperate need of food supplies, and thanks to his connections, Viscount Grant successfully traded cartloads of salted fish for several brand-new Alchemical Cannons.

Elder Prude took Ian along to observe and study, where they also heard so unexpected news—the Imperial Capital had not given up on Harrison Port completely.

As the Fiery Fla Countries were not united as one, their threat to the Western Region’s war zones wasn’t as significant as imagined.

However, there was still a possibility that they would rely on the high mobility of Constructed Knights to cut off the supply routes between the central and western parts of the continent in the future.

Currently, the Imperial Capital is seeking alternative supply routes, and a sea trade city like Harrison Port is of the utmost importance.

The Imperial Capital plans to send an Inspectorate Envoy, or rather, an Auditor to Harrison Port to assess its potential as a Supply Transfer Center, bringing with him the latest directives from the Imperial Capital.

When Ian returned ho, he relayed the news to Teacher Hiliad, but was surprised to see a profoundly solemn expression on the latter’s face.

“An Inspectorate Envoy…

the Emperor’s Emissary…”

He murmured softly to himself, “Is it a coincidence?

Perhaps…

A reminder, a harbinger.”

“Regardless, I have indeed been sowhat negligent lately…”

This was the first ti in two years that Ian had seen his teacher display a sense of wariness, solemnity, and an expression that could be described as ‘worriso’.

Terra Year 768, June.

An ordinary morning.

Sunlight stread into the house, half of the jam jar on the table had been used, and the washed dishes were placed on either side, with dust rising in the streaks of light.

In the bedroom, sunlight hit the young boy’s eyes, and his eyelashes fluttered as he awoke from a dreamless deep slumber.

“I actually slept for a full eight hours today, quite rare.”

Opening his eyes, Ian looked at the position of the sun outside the window and couldn’t help but be surprised: “Ever since I practiced the Breathing Guiding Technique, I haven’t slept for more than five hours.”

The Breathing Guiding Technique allowed for rapid recovery of physical strength during deep sleep, and it also maintained and balanced hormone secretion…

Essentially, if an ordinary person with minor ailnts practiced the Breathing Guiding Technique successfully, entering deep sleep for three hours each day, it would not take many months to recover completely, and it would also strengthen and invigorate the body.

The fact that he could sleep for so long was enough to show that his training in the past year had been frequent, and the training of a Sand Armor Apprentice was so physically demanding that ordinary people could not endure it.

But because of this, Ian had finally managed to eliminate the hidden dangers left by his previous malnutrition, and he had even caught up slightly with the progress of the major nobles’ children who had been snacking on Magical Beast ingredients since childhood.

At just over ten years old, he was now, regardless of where he was placed on Terra Continent, truly worthy of being called a young genius.

However, just after getting up, Ian, who was about to continue practicing the Breathing Guiding Technique, saw Teacher Hiliad, who was already awake, polishing his blunted side sword at the table.

The sword oil had a peculiar aroma, akin to the essence extracted from burning both tal and blood together.

The light grey sword oil was sared on the sword’s pale silver blade, making it glint with dazzling light even under the daylight.

All signs of aging had ceased on the man; he looked at his side sword intently, diligently polishing every corner of it with a cloth.

“Is sothing big about to happen?”

Taking a large gulp of water from his cup, the boy looked towards his teacher with so anticipation and asked, “Have you found the entrance to the Southern Sea Ruins?”

“Nothing much, Ian, just reminiscing,” replied Hiliad, raising his head and giving his student a slight smile.

The sunlight only lit his chin, and the veteran Knight’s eyes shimred slightly in the shadows.

There was sothing more to his smile than before; Hiliad turned his attention back to the longsword, speaking softly to himself, “I just feel so remorse for my evasion…

I’ve accidentally forgotten so important matters.”

“I’ve forgotten my true mission.”

At that mont, Ian watched as his teacher rose to his feet.

The man was tall and majestic, like a mountain, with a spirit of boldness and grandeur that was more captivating than any Ian had seen before.

—This might be a part of his teacher’s true bearing from the past.

Ian couldn’t help thinking this and even felt like applauding for the current Hiliad, feeling excited and joyous for a teacher who was no longer aging.

“Indeed, how could I forget,” Hiliad said as he sheathed the sword, standing straight and surrounded by a halo of golden light.

“I am not rely a teacher.”

“I am also a knight.”
