The light of the path has extinguished.

The Prophet and the dragon returned to reality, back to Dragon Island.

The Thunder Dragon King stood still, falling into a long silence, while the white-haired Prophet swayed slightly, then half-knelt on Dragon Island. Even with the Unyielding Fortress Body, it was difficult to bear the backlash, and blood instantly welled up in his eyes, turning the whites of his eyes a crimson red outside his azure pupils.

Yet even more terrifying was the sound of the soul shattering—behind Ian, fragnts of light began to appear, indicative of the slow disintegration of a Third Energy Level Sublimator’s soul and Heart Light Body after suffering nearly mortal damage, manifesting as fragnts of Heart Light.

[Ian?] The Galewind Dragon King awoke as if from a dream, uttering the na, and imdiately the sturdy ground of Dragon Island lit up with layers of flowing inscriptions. Within seconds, what resembled a stone sarcophagus, a life-sustaining chamber, encapsulated the white-haired youth inside.

"...Thank you, Galewind Dragon King." With the help of the healing field, Ian, who almost suffered from the collapse of his Spirit Quality Nerve Network and simultaneous fragntation of his soul and Heart Light, sighed in relief and said weakly, "If it were just , I might need a year or two of rest, which would be disastrous."

"After all, it seems like we don’t have much ti left, do we?"

[It’s not about having ti, you can’t damage your body like this!] Ian’s joke made the Dragon King glare at him fiercely, but the thunderous dragon then sighed: [The End... To think there’s The End outside our Cradle already?]

Reaching this point, the Galewind Dragon King couldn’t help but lower his head, gazing at Dragon Island with so confusion and a bitter smile: [In that case, does our effort have any aning? Though we don’t know why He doesn’t destroy us imdiately... but... as soon as He acts, Terra will be destroyed instantly, right]

He sighed heavily—even though it’s unclear how a mass of thunder sighs, Ian could clearly understand the Dragon King’s emotions.

"No. He hasn’t discovered Terra behind us, just simply sensed us."

Thus, Ian gave a very certain answer: "If He had discovered Terra, the star would have already collapsed into a Black Hole."

"As for us, how should I put it... we’re like a fast-moving carriage crashing into a giant mountain of lava—the mountain might feel sothing hit it, but that’s all, such an occurrence is not uncommon for The End."

"The real question is... why can The End sense us?"

This is a very direct question—why can The End sense the Light Dragon but not the nearby Terra Sun?

In the life-sustaining chamber, while enjoying the treatnt from Dragon Island’s technology, Ian fell into deep thought.

The ’Extinguished Star Path’ version of himself is quite an eccentric isolationist.

For unknown reasons, Ian of Extinguished Stars chose not to conquer Terra, but to use only the technology and resources of Xiawei Territory and a few allies to accelerate into the heavens, developing technology using resources from the Moon and other Terra planets, and advancing to the outside world at the fastest speed.

He abandoned many legacies that might have been left on Terra Continent, but the speed was indeed fast.

In just over twenty years, Ian of Extinguished Stars successfully developed a chanized dragon spaceship that could reach the exit of the Star Prison Tianyu.

Compared to the Decay Path, which took decades to wander the continent, Ian of the Spirit Calamity raised two generations of Terra People’s souls to drive Void Spawn carriages, a speed that can be considered quite fast.

Yet Ian of Extinguished Stars’ move to go beyond the Star Prison triggered the Calamity of Light.

Because the gaps of the Star Prison Tianyu had actually been partially repaired, covered by an Ether Space-Ti mbrane that could slow the speed of light, isolating interactions inside and outside the Cradle, and even blocking supernova rays from unknown distances, accumulating in place.

The act of breaching the space-ti mbrane triggered the accumulated supernova energy to erupt, which is the true nature of the Calamity of Light.

To handle the Calamity of Light and to better leave the Star Prison Tianyu, Ian of Extinguished Stars chose an unknown thod to detonate the Terra Sun, artificially creating a supernova explosion, using the unimaginable level of Origin Quality from the instantaneous explosion to counter the impact, and leveraging this force to go beyond the Star Prison Tianyu.

And his chosen vehicle might have been the ’Thousand-Star Beast.’

At this mont, Ian actually ca to understand why fusing the bloodline of the ’Sunbird’ and the ’Eclipsing Light Refining Dragon’ was necessary.

Clearly, this was to better equip the Thousand-Star Beast with the Power of Phototransformation from the Sunbird!

Inega II, who once aspired to beco the Teyvat Labyrinth Master, probably had sothing to do with the Thousand-Star Beast... This previous generation madman, not much different from Ian, whose Ian of Spirit Calamity raised Void Spawns, while Inega II evidently wanted to ta the Thousand-Star Beast as his mount!

One aid to ascend by consuming everyone’s soul, the other by consuming everyone’s phototransformation—no difference between them!

Frankly, Ian himself felt that he might have been a bit too extre.

The Decay Path bombed the Earth Core, then the Spirit Disaster bombed a planet, and finally, the Extinguished Star bombed the sun directly.

What might he do next? Bomb the Star Prison Tianyu?

I’m a bit too extre. jpg

At this point, Ian fully grasped the current situation.

Internally, Terra Continent is rife with conflicts, countries break into global wars every few years, even Xiawei Territory was unexpectedly attacked by the elite regular forces of Fiery Fla Land, suffering heavy casualties, winning only through newly developed ch-Dragon Technology. If one were to conquer the Whole Terra, who knows how many people would die and how much ti would be ’wasted’.
