Terra Year 775, January 16th.
The New Year holidays are over. It’s better to say that this era is still not quite accustod to the so-called seven-day break. People feel restless when not working. City dwellers might gather to chat or play gas, while mountain dwellers continue their tasks.
A small team of mountain people is advancing on a vast icy plateau, over four thousand ters above sea level, in the core area of the Bison Mountain Range.
The Bison Snow Peak once—at least during the previous civilization era—was a plateau.
In the ti when ’Terra Continent’ was not the only continent on this planet, it faced an imnse island on another tectonic plate. The Bison Mountain Range was the result of plate collision.
Due to the Calamity of Heavenly Fall, the plateau collapsed, the mountains descended, the continent subrged in roaring great waves, and the Bison Mountain Range rose once more from such an impact.
The past plateau turned into mountain peaks.
Even the mountains near the equator have snow; with high altitude, there’s frost everywhere, but the Snow Peak is different. The snow here might be the result of accumulation over hundreds and thousands of years, but more importantly, it is the deposition left by a Fifth Energy Level True Dragon.
Even the mountain dwellers wouldn’t think of coming to such a place; occasional resource searching is dangerous enough.
But because of the ’Dragon God’s’ command, they have been trekking across this vast and boundless snowy plain for more than three months.
If it weren’t for the fact that each of them was driving an exoskeleton armor, with sufficient Elental Crystals to power the Alchemy Furnace, even lasting three days in such exploration action would be impressive—yet, despite having such professional equipnt, they still need to return every five or six days to recharge.
The exploration process is incredibly dull, with no enemies and no surprises, only the omnipresent eternal icy wind. After fixing the ’Detection Device’, there’s rely the process of waiting for the silver progress bar to fill up bit by bit.
This detection device cos from the city hall. It’s said that as long as you put it down and charge it, it can detect all Dragonblood aura nearby—just by placing the detection device block by block, they can sweep up the True Dragon’s remnants, much like minesweeping.
No one expected this thing would take two days to charge.
Two days without Magical Beasts—most would rather have Magical Beasts attack, it would at least be stimulating—and no enemies, just sitting idly by the device ’waiting’ and ’collecting data’; nothing but a vast sea of white snow all around.
Thankfully, there is Plants vs. Demons.
Yes, Plants vs. Demons.
Plants vs. Demons is a strategy ga hosted by Xia Hui Domain City Hall. The ga takes place in a territory attacked by Fiery Fla Land creatures. Here, nurous Dragonblood Plants grow, and survivors cultivate Dragonblood Plants to combat the ever-flowing corrupted Magical Beasts. In the continuous battles, they find new Dragonblood Plant seeds, retrieve other companions, and protect their holand—while gradually detecting the source of the corrupted Magical Beast nest...
Sounds pretty dazzling, but it’s actually just a bunch of blurred pixel blocks and another bunch of pixel blocks in a tower defense ga. The current performance of the Canaan Moore Terminal can only support this.
But for the Terra People, this is already very dazzling, even reaching an unbelievable degree.
During the wait for the detection device to charge, the exploring mountain dwellers pass ti with Plants vs. Demons. They compete on ga length, competing with the least costs through, trying all sorts of different combinations, learning to find a way to persist the longest in Infinite Mode.
Although the ga is entertaining, playing continuously for three to four months will undoubtedly leave an indelible impression on the mind.
"Ah, I’ve got it!"
In the midst of flying ice and snow, a mountain dweller suddenly had an epiphany during the hundredth sunrise: "Look, this nut, isn’t it the city wall of our town?"

"Uh." His companion, another mountain dweller gently reminded the seemingly snow-enlightened friend: "All of this was written in the newspapers. Xia Hui Domain December 774 second week’s article ’War is imminent’."
"I have read it." The enlightened mountain dweller, radiating with Glory, laughed heartily: "But I didn’t understand it before, now I do!"
"Apparently, experiencing it firsthand is the only way to understand!"
The ga is such a thing, able to lead one from so ’false matters’ in a simulation to think of so real truths and logic.
But actually, there are so truths, that when finally comprehended, might be a bit late.
