"Cure it? I suppose not?" Loran was sowhat bewildered. He was smart enough to know that he couldn’t deceive himself into imagining accomplishing the impossible.
This is a mistake only smart people make, but through Ian’s questioning, Loran vaguely understood what he truly desired: "I want to restore my grandmother’s Vitality, even if it’s just temporary. I want her to be able to embrace again!"
"Is this selfish wish really possible?" The boy felt a little uneasy.
"If this is considered selfish, then on Terra, there is no Spirit Energy that is not selfish."
Ian’s eyes brightened with a silver-blue glow as he extended his hand, placing it on Loran’s head, and solemnly said, "Now, continue to speak your wish."

"Don’t concern yourself with whether it’s realistic or not. Just think, even if it’s pure fantasy, it’s better than not daring to dream at all!"
