So, just half an hour after waking up, Adalbert accompanied Ian to the Domain of Void to see demons.
To be precise, it was the Fusion Demon ’Bewitching Heart’ Ian captured during the Haze Glint Airship attack in the Xiawei Territory.
Bewitching Heart has been imprisoned by Ian and now sleeps in a square spirit energy container.
This is a soul body composed of many purplish-red ribbons; it is very chaotic as a whole, lacking any semblance of the ordered collective form of the Voidrealm Machine God or Ian and others, resembling entangled seaweed but upon closer inspection, one can see many fine barbs within those purplish-red spirit energy bands.
These barbs have no lethality but allow the soul to easily latch onto other soul bodies, exerting its influence.
"This is the demon’s soul. The spirit energy of this Fusion Demon is the extrely rare ’allure ability’, but the original desire was actually a ’craving for attention’. He hoped his parents could notice him, not ignore him, and thus gained this spirit energy capable of attracting favor and attention."
Ian pointed to Bewitching Heart’s soul and explained, "But upon becoming a demon, this spirit energy was twisted and enhanced—the original favor and attention transford into compulsive obedience. Those enchanted are willing to comply regardless of the command, even to die for Bewitching Heart."
