Capítulo 1535: Chapter 277: Deceit and Ambush!
From the tal box at his waist, large droplets of liquid tal rose. These silver tallic particles had now transford under the terrifying pulsations of the Sorrow Bell’s spirit energy, becoming a golden-red tallic gas, swirling around him like a corona.
The demon general raised his hand, lifting two fingers, pointing directly at the distant armored squad.
The golden-red light shot out with a piercing whistling, like a trail of fla breaking through the sky.
In that instant, the instincts of Green Tide’s crisis mode went wild with warnings, and in the end, he could only shout, “Disperse!”
The armored squad scattered imdiately, but how could even those below the Third Energy Level withstand the furious strike of the Sorrow Bell?
The destructive stream of flas instantly pierced through one armor suit, and the visible rippling waves shattered the entire tallic giant in the next second, lting it into a pool of golden molten iron, followed by a massive explosion that created a field of destruction the size of a stadium.
Struck by this blow, survival was impossible for any.
But no one was afraid.
In fact, so fanatical pilots began to murmur, reciting the recent widespread ‘prophecy’ in the South Ridge.
“The Prophet foretells—a black blaze of calamity arrives, cursed malevolent souls will surge like a tide, bringing pain, despair, and sorrow.”
“But there is no need for fear, as the fierce wrath of the heavens, thundering and fiery lightning above the sky, will pound them—with the na of holy warfare, we shall surely win!”
“All who die in the holy war shall gain eternal rest in the Underworld!”
In the recitation of these prophetic words, the dead pilot’s soul wasn’t even able to perceive as a silver light enveloped him—quicker than the demons, the soul’s summons rapidly guided him to the Land of Rest.
And this signified one thing.
Ian had arrived.
The Sorrow Bell naturally couldn’t perceive the zealous hymn in the far-away armor communications, nor the fact of the pilots’ souls being retrieved.
If he knew, he would probably feel sothing amiss—for this ti, the enemies and populace he’s facing no longer feared these embodints of terror, no longer feared these demons.
Because the terrifying religious fervor and personal worship, along with the glory brought by holy war, have already engulfed all of the South Ridge’s advanced troops.
They no longer could create despair in the South Ridge with slaughter and destruction.
Yet this did not stop him from launching a second strike—and this strike, which he had already calibrated, was enough to instantly and completely eliminate those annoying armored squads like mosquitoes!
Boom!
A crimson fla sword was ford by the Sorrow Bell, then sped rapidly towards the direction of Green Tide and the others.
This strike cut through the atmosphere, igniting and shaking it. Wherever it passed, rocks dissolved, flora ignited, and the unbelievable sonic wave power was enough to cleave a small mountain.
And the five armor suits centered on Green Tide had nowhere to hide, their speed couldn’t possibly match the products of the Sorrow Bell spirit energy, about to be caught in no ti.
Yet, an invisible blossom of icy flowers burst into form from thin air, layers of ice shards and crystal fragnts resembling snowflakes coalesced midair, swiftly forming a gigantic shield.
Rather than a shield, it was more like a fortress-like icy wall blocking the retreating armored squad, firmly halting the Sorrow Bell’s lethal strike.
Crash! The next mont, the icy shield shattered completely, the golden-red fla also pierced it—but the power and accuracy of the fla sword were significantly reduced, finally crashing crookedly onto a neighboring small hill.
With a thunderous boom, the topsoil of the small hill surged like a tide. Shortly after, the entire hill collapsed inwards, turning into an annular crater.
If this strike had hit, the armored troops’ outco could have been no different from ants crushed by human shoes.
This was the might of the Sorrow Bell.
Without any Bloodline True Form, rely relying on spirit energy and demonic power to harness Fourth Energy Level strength, a Great Demon!
And now, this Great Demon solemnly looked towards where the ice crystal shield had coalesced earlier: [Silver Peak Earl?]
Just then, he could have continued manipulating spirit energy to pursue the armored squad, but instead felt his spirit energy intercepted by another force, causing it to veer off course.
No one replied, but the Sorrow Bell suddenly turned around, looking behind him, shouting: [Ambush?!]
A roaring command, trendous power exploded like a torrent, at this mont, the demon general employed his true strength, a wave of malice erupted from the Domain of Void, bearing down with the force of heaven and earth.
In an instant, everything paled.
The black cloud of cursed resentnt roiled endlessly, montarily affecting even the physical world, as the terrifying decay and scorching sensation spread all around, and a tangible shockwave blew away all surrounding trees, even shattering the rock crust into dust.
A small-scale Subspace Labyrinth centered on the Sorrow Bell instantly covered the real world, filled with thunder, shockwaves, and intense heat. A tiny fae figure had no choice but to erge from the Domain of Void.
That naturally was Ian in fae form.
“Interesting, demons themselves are analogous to Heart Light bodies like spirit energy aggregates. Thus at the Third and Fourth Energy Levels, they forgo Aether True Bodies in favor of influencing the material world with their Void Entities, forming domain-like or inherent barrier-like Subspace Labyrinths controlled by them.”
